   What are some really stupid things a jealous guy would do for attention?
   
   Need some ideas for a project. If you don't mind sharing your stupid or funny ideas please.

   There can be 2 different types of reaction from a jealous guy:
   
   1. He will go into a nutshell and will become a loner. He will continue cursing himself even if the person he is jealous from is inferior to him.
   
   2. He will come out aggressive and will do all sort of 'stupid things (as you mentioned)' to catch attention.
   
   I have encountered many such (type 2 ones!) personalities in my short life so far. In school, they simply said the things loudly so others can pay attention to them (even if it is in the form of angry glares!). In university, such people used to lift their hands every time our professor used to ask a question during lectures. Believe me, they were always 90% incorrect!

   I have seen jealous guys do some pretty stupid things.  I had a stalker once years ago.  He worked with me and wouldn't take no for an answer.  He got fired for harassing me and then started stalking me and pestering another male friend of mine and threatening him.  you know, because that's how you win someone over *eyerolls*
   
   There was another guy I knew who was very passive aggressive.  If he was jealous of something I could do - he had to outdo me or do that better.  It was everything from playing levels on a video game to who could cook better - always had to one up me - I could never be better at anything.  Needless to say that one didn't last long lol
   
   Fortunately, the world is full of good men who don't get jealous and act stupid

      Thanks Christian, I like the competitive idea. The character could compete with the male protagonist and make an ass of himself....lol

   1. Get another girlfriend
   2. Hire a super model that would make his girlfriend jealous
   3. Be violent to His girlfriend
   4. Try and compete with his girlfriend.
