    Anyone tried Bubblews?

So, I've signed up today. It seems that HP is the better quality site in terms of articles written, but that Bubblews is the site if you wish to make a decent amount to start with.
Thankfully, I'm not in it for the money - HP has me at like $4.30 after almost a year...I'm just looking for other sites to write for, practice practice practice etc.
Why did you sign up? How have you found Bubblews?

I signed up at Bubblews in December, and I've really been enjoying it.
You're right that HubPages is the site for serious writing, but Bubblews is good for making money and you can promote your Hubs there, as long as you do it in an appropriate manner.
I've written two Hubs about my Bubblews experience.

I heard of bubblews via Internet and payment is often delayed as I have heard from other writers.

I've never had a problem with payment. It's the people who break the rules who are constantly moaning about the fact that Bubblews doesn't pay them.

Yes, Gina is right. If you check out the posts of the complainers, it's all copied, spun or spam content. I've never had a problem with payment either.

I'm a member of Bubblews but mainly for backlinking purposes. So I'm not very active on this site. I think it is a site you can't rely on as there are many spammers there and the ones that write quality articles often get delayed payments because of this fact. At the moment they haven't got a quality control system like here on HubPages so a lot of crap can pass through. I don't know how long this site will last. But I will stay there as long as the site remains.

How do you create links? Can you link to hubs here?

I write a short summary of my hub and then place the link. You are allowed to link to other sites as long as they are not affiliate/commercial links. You should write at least 400 characters (not words) per post.

Thanks for this Janet - I've started some backlinking, as I now finally understand what it is! Thanks

How do you backlink on bubblews? I joined and added a link to the end of my post but is there a nicer way to do it than just adding the web address? Would be nice to embed it into some text or something.

I'm still a bit rough on it, though one could use tinyurl or something like that to cloak it?

I support what janet says. A lot of crap on the site. My meaningful articles seem to be part of a small 'island of sanity' that exists. Am trying to link up with sane writers over there...

I guess when it comes to payments, the articles are looked into. If any of them are violating the TOS, the payment is infinitely delayed. The QC team comes into play just before the payment. I have just joined and want to see how the experience goes...

yes, a LOT of crap. But if you wade through it there are some good ones....I'm trying to look at the good ones, give them the $$ not the spam.

Bubblews is a social blogging site and it has a nice generous Earning program. You will be addicted to for at you first month of three weeks. Enjoy!

I just got paid it took me 5 days to reach the minimum, and 3 business days for them to send it. However it takes an additional 3-5 business days for the Echeck to clear.

The site is great I have join it when my adsense application was disabled.
You can make money on bubblews quickly rather then hubpages.
They really pay their members you just need to follows the rules.
I agree with dde and janet that there are some spammers, but they check you if you haven't did anything then your payment is sure. there are poves of payment.

I've seen a lot of junk on there. I've earned almost $2 with 2 articles smile

I just joined too.  It certainly doesn't compare to HP for serious writing, but, they say there's gold in them there hills.  After writing two 'bubble's I had $1.32!  I also use it to link to my hubs and am truthfully more interested in my hubs than my bubbles.  I figure it is good practice.

Yep. Love the site. I've been on there about 2 months. Reached payout in 2 weeks, started getting paid every week after that, and now I get paid every few days; no problem. Many people don't understand the idea behind the site, so they don't like it. In a nutshell: If you are creating content for a site, you ought to get paid for it. I think the site is fun too; get to meet people from around the world, it's user-friendly, and you can write pretty much whatever you want (within the short list of reasonable rules). My only problem with the site is that it gets glitches in the morning, I think when everyone is on the site; I get thrown off at that time often and have a hard time posting; this has only been happening recently, so maybe they're just working out the kinks; it's a pretty new site, they're probably still needing to work it out and upgrade, etc. I suggest you try to post 10 or close to 10 times a day, make connections, and like and comment so people notice you. Also, notice when people are on the site, at what times of day and post then. That's how I made it work rather well. Keywords don't hurt too; I have posts that get a lot of views outside Bubblews and it's why I started earning more quickly.

Yeah, that's one of the problems there. They're updating soon, I think those problems will go away in the very near future.

Thanks Nate! I figured the connections had something to do with it! I've been looking for evergreen content for here, so hopefully it works for both, so i'll get good at keywords too!

I joined Bubblews at the beginning of April. A couple of weeks later my Yahoo account was hacked by someone from the Philippines. Not sure if this was a coincidence or not?

I write anywhere between two and five posts a day and am getting a steady income from there which could be more if I wrote the allowed ten posts per day.  However I think this is one of the reasons there is so much rubbish on there; people hell bent on producing 10 posts who have nothing of interest to say!

I tend to write shorter, more personal, less evergreen articles articles on there but also use it to promote my hubs.

I probably will stay with Bubblews until the 'bubble' bursts because I earn far more there than here but I do prefer HubPages for the quality aspect.
