I just noticed that  huba7 posted this Hub:

    http://hubpages.com/hub/Some-10-Reasons … their-Jobs

which is a direct copy of my Hub from eleven months before:
    http://hubpages.com/hub/Fired

I reported it through a flag with Duplicate tagged and a short explanation.

Thank you for a quick remedy to this situation.

The person writes some original Hubs and then takes others from other sites, but taking from Hub Pages itself is very brassy, no?

Patty, according to what HubPages has said is the proper procedure when people bring up copied work, you may have to file a DMCA with them to get them to actually take down the hub.

I would think that given that it's right here on HubPages that if they compared the dates published they'd quickly ascertain who was the original author. And take appropriate action.

This really is a stupid move but one that has been done before. HP will fix it as they always do when it is a hub copied here. How dumb can these people be? LOL

Yikes! I tell ya, hardly anything pushes my buttons, but stealing the creative efforts of another one does!  Happy to see that Hubpages management acted swiftly!

I just found this thread Patty and am delighted (and impressed) to see it has been resolved quickly. If it had not been fixed, what would be the implications had we hubbers visited the stolen hub and given the thumbs down? Does the fact that a hub is visited give credit to that hubber's score? How, exactly, do thumbs down affect scoring etc?

I suspect we might have been better ignoring it until you got it sorted.
