   The power to think. The power to control our brains and it comes through meditation. When you are able to control and tune the brain you will be able to do anything in the world.
   
   Whatever a brain of a man can conceive, it can achieve.

   The power of conscious choice.  We can choose.  Many of us don't choose but react to whatever comes into our minds.   Such reactions are usually spontaneous and are triggered by a memory along with its attendant stored emotion.   We believe - more often than not - that we are our emotions.  We also are of the belief that we ARE our beliefs and that if our beliefs are challenged and found to be wanting, then we will be diminished in some way.
   
   All of this stems from ideas of what we believe ourselves to be which, once again in most of us, is linked to our self-image.  The self-image is exactly that, an image we have about ourselves.  But if we are aware of this, then we really do have the power to choose rather than to simply react.   So, it really does pay to make it a top priority in our lives to understand ourselves better.
   
   Thinking is common to many species, not just human beings.  But conscious choice is something human beings are really gifted with, if we're aware of our power to choose.   So, to reiterate, the greatest power human beings have is the power of choice.

   The power of choice. We can choose what is right or what is wrong, although in our minds we know the wrong choice is being made. We are conscience to these choices. Hopefully, through life we will choose what is right and become good human beings.

   The power to use our brains to advance or destroy all...it has become humanities responsibility to preserve the earth and all that's in it. If we choose the right road, we will all benefit and so, our children's children.

   Hello jabelufiroz and good morning. This is a tough question for me. I am focused on two words now = power and possess. My view and short take is if I possess the power it certainly can not be the greatest. If it were then I could not possess it. That does not mean the reciprocal of the power possesses me, only simply I could not possess it.
   
   That leaves in my humble view the greatest power that "we" as Human Beings possess is a power we can possess is not the greatest power or of greater powers. I ponder "what ifs . . ." with the next bit of pondering. I agree with the three answers presented thus far by Seshogopalan, Tusitala Tom, and JThomp42 emphatically. The power of choice and the connection with the power to think offer much and and balance with stasis too.
   
   Yet, for me, I ponder the power of desire. Desire has a bit of magic both within it and surrounding it. Desire is mysterious as in a nature of obscure and too is mystical as in transcending human toward divine. Desire for freedom may have both a probability and a possibility of greater than having freedom and a desire to exercise it how one decides.
   
   Desire with liberty is for me a greater mystery once we preface it with of, for, by, and of course "and." There are other prefaces too. Does that mean desire has power or is a power?
   
   Power is a variable from my understanding or it does have differences. Desire does as well. One may ponder the desire to write a children's book, the desire to write a poem, or simply the desire to communicate. Communication is what is desired, however it is not the answer or "why" there is a desire to communicate.
   
   Some spend (sadly spending means no longer available) a lifetime seeking to communicate somehow and someway. Many are here at HubPages seeking communicating something a result of a desire. Questions can be asked like is desire the fuel or the cargo of the flight seeking communication?
   
   Perspectives may be if desire is the fuel for communicating something then what are the avenues for the vehicle of communicating. There are many - writing, art, music, or any combination of those suggested by Howard Gardner as the ten common talents or gifts of intelligence endowed by each individual.
   
   Another question is if desire to communicate, like a children's book is accomplished and achieved, well, what does happen to desire? Does it diminish, sit idle, less focused, grow yet is chaotic, turn down a different avenue, or does desire have a propensity of stasis?

   The ability to comprehend and understand that we are powerless over other people, places and things. To achieve the things we want or need, can only be done by changing our own behavior. We are beating our heads against the wall if we believe the world will change to fit our needs. But due to ego and being closed-minded, we don't give ourselves many options. By accepting things, the way they really are, we can adjust our own thinking or ideas to better suit the situation. By not doing that, we spend a ton of time and energy on something that will never pay dividends. We may not be able to find our way through the mountain, but there is always a way around it. If we are willing to go the extra mile, our destinations can be reached.

    With this power, we can transcend our strictly physical bodies that are only designed for survival and replication.

    Creativity and Productivity. Creativity is the ability of the mind to discover and acknowledge the missing link or whatever is lacking and necessary in any given and particular situation and in any given time and space; then it would imagine scenarios to fill the vacuum in any way possible using anything in his immediate environment as part of his imaginary creations. Productivity is the ability of the person to carry out into material reality what his creative mind had conceived and believed as possible.

    How about the power to know when to let go?
    
    Let go of desire,
    
    Let go of analyzing,
    
    Let go of power and possession,
    
    Let go of control by the personality (what freedom!,)
    
    Let go of using the brain in favor of being guided by the higher senses,
    
    Let go of choices made by the ego and align with the wisdom of the Higher Self,
    
    Let go of having to understand and step beyond to know and trust without need for comprehending,
    
    Let go of emotions that hold back whole-person evolution and allow instead deeper feelings to arise,
    
    Let go of productivity to simply Be in the moment, and act in the flow of life.
