I like stainless steel buckets best. But I don't mind plastic if the handles are well molded.

My super favorite buckets have beer in them.

Mine isn't really all that long.
    Move back to the UK.
See and watch my two youngest grandchildren grow up (as I missed the other five).
Live the rest of my life the best I can with the health problems I have (MRSA) and my wonderful wife.

It may not be a long list...but it has all great things in it!

    Yes.  I'm a list person.

    1) Sell off or get rid of what we don't need.
    2) Travel to Georgia where my heart tends to want to be.
    3) Learn all I can about my roots.  I've never met my bio dad.  My grandfather who raised me is dying of pancreatic cancer.  I need to learn all I can before he passes.

I find myself doing the same as #1.  I'm not a pack rat by any means.  I hope you do get to travel to Georgia.  I'm so sorry to hear about your grandfather.  I hope you get to spend time with him.  Thanks so much for commenting.

Well, not officially, but I do have some important goals to reach before I die.  I am presently retired from teaching but I am a freelance writer and photographer and have certain goals  I want to meet there.  Although I have travelled extensively, there are still places I would like to visit throughout the world.  I think it is important to have bucket lists to inspire us to live a full life up to the end.

I agree. I  have a mental bucket list, but I haven't actually written it out.  I think I'm going to have to do that soon.  It's nice to be able to "see" the goals you've checked off. Thanks for your comment!

I made a bucket list a couple of years ago. It was something I became very determined to accomplish. I was surprised at how quickly I was able to go through it, and with every accomplishment came great satisfaction. I wrote a brief blog about this: http://thomasczech.hubpages.com/hub/My- … eedom-road

Yes, and, actually checked a few things off from the list already.  The important thing is to actually be able to fulfill a few things from the list, because much of it is out of reach for many...

I have a list, but have never written it down. The most recent thing I crossed off (mentally) was learning to drive a motorcycle. The thing at the top of my list is to become a full-time writer.

Sheila- I love that you learned to drive the motorcycle.  That is awesome!  I am the same way about the list.  I haven't written mine down yet, but I plan to.  I hope you become a full time writer as well!

I write a new list of ten goals I wish to accomplish every year. Some are carried over from the year before, but i manage to cross a few off as well.

Yes a long list and I want all these wishes to come true in no particular order firstly I want to travel worldwide which I can't do due to family commitments and shortage of money.
Secondly want to get into foundation training and become a consultant really fast.
Thirdly I want my son to be really confident and be really chatty as he is a bit quiet.
Fourthly I want to increase traffic to my hubs and be really successful.

Only in my dreams.  There are a lot of places I'd love to see, but with hubby's health and our lack of a single extra penny, the most traveling we do is to the grocery store and back and forth to doctor visits.
I expect I'll visit the places I yearn to see once I'm on the other side of the pale.

Hopefully you'll get to go to the places where you want to go. You never know when fate could take its lucky turn and you get your hands on some money. Hope your husbands health improves. My mom unexpectedly got 400 pounds worth inheritance money.

No, I have not created a bucket list. Actually, I do not know what the expression "bucket list" means. I do have a list, a to-do list, within my head. Also I have plans. One year plans, 5 year plans, 10 year plans, 20 year plans, 30 year plans, 50 year plans, and finally, 100 year plans. I was taught to do this kind of planning by Japanese Masters who think "Asian." This is how I have been taught to think. I have not lists, except, I do tend to make a "to do" list of things I have to do on a given day. I am an extremely busy person with a very hectic work life, so I have to have a list to follow on a day to day basis. I don't know, however, what a bucket list is, or what it means.
    Regards,
    Dr. Haddox

A bucket list is a list of things that a person would like to accomplish before they die.  The first time I heard the expression was from the movie, called, The Bucket List.  Great to hear that you have created to-do lists! Thank you for commenting.

I made one several years ago, based on my astrological birth chart, just to see what would happen. I called it "Goals From My Current Life's Blueprint." So far I've accomplished over 90% of the 28 goals listed, many of which are ongoing lifestyle changes. Just this year I had another breakthrough that will allow for greater success. It hasn't been easy, but I feel satisfied and like I'm totally on the right track for myself.

My interpretation of a "Bucket List" is that it is a list of things you want to take care of before you pass away.  Naturally, I would like to visit special places and see really cool things.  I want to do things that I thought I would never do.  But I believe if I accomplished the one thing I have wanted to create for as long as I can remember, that one thing would be to have a small home with lots of privacy and an incredibly beautiful view.

I am most grateful to say that much of my life has been what I could have ever dreamed and/or sincerely wanted.  Certainly, my share of troubles, mistakes and deep sadness, cannot be excluded, but I tend to focus on the "good" and the positive.....and lovingly advise you do this too!
There are a few things that I would be happy to do, before my final departure, but it's a short list and one that I think will be easy to achieve, as soon as I decide to seriously focus on them.  I am always interested in the lists that my friends have and wish them much luck. It's important to be ,do, see and/or have our heart's desires!   Be happy!
