What are two to three tips you can share on raising a child?
Please keep it positive. Both parents and non-parents may respond
1) When they cry and throw up tantrums, check first whether they are feeling hungry or sleepy.
2) Never over pamper them
3) Teach them that obedience is also a necessary virtue.
1. love
2. love & hugs
3. love at all times, in all circumstances.
That is great but do love and hugs teach them what they need to make it in this world
Your love is fine, but as Handicapped Chef has commented, will it help them to face the world with all harsh realities? If love ends up as blind pampering, then that love is going to spoil them. One should not 'love' at all times/ all circumstances.
Very true, CV but you cannot truly love without responsibility-by love, I do not mean spoil, I mean real love that comes w/discipline, teaching responsibility, integrity, morals, values, security and love even when they deserve it the least
Always show your child you love them
Keep them safe
Don't have too many boundaries
Be their parent more than their friend
Be there at all times
Don't yell
communication is very important
Help out whenever you can and with whatever you can don't ignore your child
pay attention to your child's needs
Well said trust and communication are 2 very strong factors in the life of raising your children.
1. Make sure they know there is a safe environment in the home to escape from outside issues and where honesty is always accepted.
2. Always love unconditionally.
3. Set boundaries for your kids and STICK TO THEM! Boundaries without enforcement are useless.
(1) Always assure the child of your love.
(2) Give the child permission to flex his muscles (literally and figuratively) without criticism
(3) Model what you teach and preach
One of the most important things besides the obvious love them, is make sure that they know that they can trust you. Make it easy for them to confide in you and keep you in the loop of their lives, good or bad.
You also must pick your battles. Do not get mad at your children for mistakes. Especially like accidental mistakes like dropping a glass or spilling their drink. If you holler at them for something as simple at that, they will never be able to come to you with more serious mistakes.
Learn to listen not just give demands. Your child may be talking out of line to you by telling you no, they are not going to do something you told them to do, but first listen to their reason, there may be a legitimate one. Let them know that their ideas and thoughts are important. Then if the thing you ask still must be done, take the time to explain why.
really agree with you with the trust issue that is a very important part of teaching your child.
1. Love them no matter what and enjoy them while they are there. The years go quickly.
2. Be consistent. If you've made a rule you need to stick to it.
3. If they say they hate you, they never mean it.
If you're making ground rules let one of them be an aim for smiles and laughter in every
If you're going to create rules make sure you follow them yourself.

Think about this: God, out of profound love for us allowed his own wonderful, dear son be sacrificed for our sins. He didn't sin one time. He didn't die for himself. He died for us, to save us. This is why he is called the savior. Jesus sacrificed his life to save us from hell, which were prepared...

Hi everyone, I believe in keeping the faith in God's holy word. All of the terrible things taking place in the world today is true prophecy of what is written in the bible. To all of the true and humble servants of God. Why must we take a stand for righteousness?
