I have to work tomorrow but even if I wasn't, you couldn't pay me to set foot in any sort of retail establishment.

No black Friday for this lady. I can't stand crowds or ignorant people.  I also find it insane that people camp out of retail stores for days waiting to shop, why are these people not working?!?!  Our economy is tanking, people should be working, wasting time in tents on sidewalks to maul people for 20% discounts on crap MFG'd in China. My blood pressure goes up just thinking about it!

100% with you Bishop55.  Now Canada is doing this day too - wow, mindnumbing and sad for the workers.

There is NO way I will set foot near a shopping mall today. This tired old lady does all of her holiday shopping online. I think it's a shame that so many people who work in retail had to spend even yesterday away from their families.

I agree Carb Diva.  It seems that the retail world gives no thought to family time.  I would like to return to a 5 and 1/2 day shopping week.

I chose to stay home, Liz.  It was a wonderful day just watching old movies and eating leftovers.  I am not one to go out in the crowds as I usually end up frustrated with all the hustle and bustle of shoppers.
