   Has anyone tried odesk?
   
   I am looking for jobs online and found Odesk, Ifreelance but most of the jobs are translator from foreign language to English. Has anyone succeeded in earning money at Odesk? Do they pay thru paypal?

   Hi.  I am a member of O'desk both as an affiliate and as a freelancer and I haven't had any work as you yet.  I joined a year ago.  However, in your line of work you may get more responses as there is a greater need i guess? 
   
   It is worth joining free and adding all of your details so at least you can use their platform to expose your work and it will act as another advertising source for your work.

   Hi, I was at oDesk for some time as a writer. The pay is ridiculous so I quit. One contractor offered me $5.00 for writing a few articles totaling 15000 words.  Ridiculous and crazy rate, so I quit, never to go back again.

   I have tried it but could never get a high enough standing to actually get a job from it ,it is quiet difficult

   I have not tried Odesk because I reviewed it a while ago and there seemed to problems about receiving the paychecks, only having one account, writing being reviewed by only robots - no humans, and more.

      Yes. There are those that wait quite some time for the payment and others that seem to disagree with it.
      In case you did not understand this other part, what I meant about one account is that you are only allowed to have one account.

   I have tried many  sites to earn  some extra cash but have not succeeded in any. I found HP to be my best choice. Odesk is no exception.

   Go to authporspubliosh.com, I just now discovered them and they point you in the direction of pones that pay well and the guidelines for submitting.
