   Depends upon how you want it. Both have competing capabilties. If you kind of a google-guy, then may be blogger will be the best option for you out there it will help you get easy excess to your google stuff, you can add your google docs there and much more. It's kind of easy but not much richful.
   If you want to be a bit on a creative side and is able to spent some money to make your blog then WordPress is the guy for you, it will then let you customise your template on a large extent and you can buy premium ones directly and use them right from there. To get acquainted to WordPress you need to spend some time understanding it.
   Choice is all yours btw. But I will suggest a new web blog maker: weebly.com it's quite easy and more of its feature are free. Anyway, thanks. Give some time to read my hub.

   I took a class on blogging last fall and we had to create a blog in both Blogger and Wordpress. I found Blogger to be much more user friendly. I was able to do some cool things with the format of the blog and make it how I wanted it. The only thing that I had issues with was having "blogspot" in the url!
   
   I found Wordpress to be much more cumbersome and difficult. I had a tough time understanding how the system worked and couldn't get the affect I wanted. At the time, it frustrated me so much that I abandoned my Wordpress blog.
   
   I eventually ended up with my own url and website that uses Wordpress as the basis for it and has a blog on it. Had I known then what I know now, I would have just stayed with my Wordpress blog. It would have allowed me to add pages of other content to the blog for no cost, whereas getting my own url and website has been somewhat expensive.

   I'm biased towards WordPress....I love it. It can take some time to get used to when first starting out, there's so much functionality within that CMS, but once you really start using it, it'll get easier. Plus, for most things you want on your website, there's usually a plugin or theme that does it for you. If you have plans to enhance your blog to even a full on website, it's fairly easy to develop what you currently have to that. Bottom line, I've found that WordPress offers more flexibility.
   
   Regarding Blogger... I like how it organizes and connects all your Google products. Creating posts and getting your blog set up is pretty straightforward. Although no one knows for sure, I think having your blog on a Blogger platform may possibly put you in a favorable position towards SEO and ranking on Google.com, but like I said, it's not known, it's just a theory I have.

      Thank you Jenna for your reply, I will now have to choose between the two blogging platforms. Although it is quite tough as both seem to be good.
