Can you delete and republish blogs that have become un-featured due to lack of traffic?

I've recently had a lot of blogs lose their featured status due to lack of traffic.  I was wondering if there are any policies against deleting blogs that are no longer featured and publishing them again? So many of these blogs were published before I had much of a following, and I feel like republishing them will result in increased traffic.

Also, I welcome any commentary on the positive and negative effects of a strategic move like this.

I don't have any idea regarding any policies in this regard.
But, I think you have the liberty to delete them and republish them. The problem, if any exists, is that you may lose the earnings against those hubs, if not already drawn. That's what I think.
Why not edit them instead of deleting? You can remove the entire content from each capsule in edit mode and insert the new content with suitable sub-titles. The photos can also be replaced and everything in the same manner. That can be a good approach.

This is a waste of time.  Trust me.  I've done it, and after hours of time wasted, unfeatured again.

You don't have to delete them. Just edit and update them and they'll go back through QAP and become refeatured.

They weren't deactivated due to quality of content, but because of lack of traffic. That's part of my reason for wanting to start entirely anew. I think they will get more traffic than they ever did when I published them the first time.

I've had a ton of articles losing their featured status.  Trying to 'fix' them is a temporary respite.  Unpublish, here, publish elsewhere.  Next year take another look and either delete or rewrite

Before you delete them, check them for spelling, grammar, etc. Then post the link in social media to increase your readership. When I do that, they become featured again.

I have the same quandary.  I will find a Hub that suddenly is not featured.  I will sit down, go over it, rewrite, add sections, change, do everything.  It goes up as featured, then two days later, it is down again.

I don't see any point in bothering anymore.  Just unpublish here, publish elsewhere.

At one time, at least half of mine were unfeatured due to lack of traffic, and I didn't understand that because some of my featured hubs had less traffic. Anyway, I started rewriting them and adding extra photos, and discovered the same thing. They only drew a couple more comments. One reason, I think is because they aren't being "fed" so the followers and traffic we now have can see them. I've never been one to share my own hubs, but now I'm trying the tactic of changing the title and sharing to see if it works. If not, I'm not going to waste any more effort on them.

I did everything to 'fix' my hubs.  A few days up, down again. So,publish elsewhere.  'Unpublish' them here.
