How Fast Can We End All Benefits For Government Employees?

Its simple. If only 1 US citizen is forced to pay health insurance out of pocket then 100% of all city state and federal employees must pay all their health insurance out of pocket. We will renegotiate all their other benefits and retirement etc if they dont like it.

I agree, especially when you consider that these a public Servants yet they get benefits that should be bestowed up their Master, the people. At the least, they should get what is available to the average citizen, no more no less. FERS, FEHS, vacation time, personal time, job security etc.

We in the private non union sector can't get these benefits because private employers need to keep in the black or go under. The federal workers on the other hand have an employer that taxes money from the people and bestows these benefits and perks on themselves, and by definition when they go into the red, they just print more money.

In addition, their retirement FERS is privately managed, and it is a Defined BENEFITS plan, meaning that no matter what the economy, they will get these benefits. When our 401k goes down in a bad economy we just lose money.

I hope you include senators and congressman in DC and state capitols.  They need to live in the country you want and suffer for lack of health care.

Sounds like a good thing to do. They should  be included in with federal workers.

If someone flipping burgers for minimum wage has to pay for health insurance Its fair that a senator has to pay for the exact qualiry of care and no better. And while we are at it, why does a burger flipper have to pay for a senators retirement?

Follow the Constitution to elect officials.

Amendment 24 requires a Primary presidential election and The People of each state to elect Electors but it’s not clear why. Article 2.1.2 reads “each State [its people I suppose] shall appoint [electors], in such manner as the Legislature there of may direct” and Article 2.1.4 say “congress may determine the time of chusing the Electors, and the Day on which they shall give their Votes [of the primary election results?]; which Day shall be the same throughout the United States” is very confusing so the following is how I read Electors’ duties.

Article 1.2.2 for electing Representatives and 1.3.3 and Amendment 17 for electing Senators imply all Congress’ Electors are to be elected by the People [if the people elect Presidents’ Electors they also should for congressman] to choose citizens of another state when congressman are chosen. They are to represent the nation’s people and not only those of the state they were elected by and are to be from every walk of life from homeless through any other United States provided titles. That allows The People to question them about their knowledge of the constitution, their willingness to serve, to investigate their backgrounds and other matters before electing them which leaving no room for parties.

Amendments 12, 23 and 24 govern Presidential Elections including Primaries. Reading Article 2 and those Amendments reveal the Electors are to choose president and vice candidates for their states while the preamble’s clause “in order to form a more prefect Union” eliminates Parties and Convention. The People of each state then elect one each for their state’s candidates for November’s General election that the Electors certify the winning and loosing vote count, possibly 51 each including DC, to congress. Congress is required to notify every household in the nation who the candidates are, their qualifications, their backgrounds and other information before The People vote their individual choices of them. It implies if the 51 Primaries elect both incumbents there will not be a November election. I the case of a tie of 2 Congress breaks it but should be amended out unless all congressman ask the people how to vote since we must supposes a ties of 3 or more requires a General tie-breaking election.

Thus, elected officials are "We The People" so the only benefits they get would be what the people get except, if they don't live in DC, a small living expense.
