Farewell to Our Fellow Hubber Bob Bamberg

   I just received an email from Bob´s wife. He has been doing well but the cancer spread and he has been going downhill since Thanksgiving. He passed away last month.
   
   I did not always agree with Bob but I always enjoyed his great attitude and interesting comments. For those of you who have not read his work, please take a minute to go by and see some of his work here  on Hubpages. https://hubpages.com/@bobbamberg Some of his pet articles have been moved to Pethelpful, but I think his most successful hub is a Degarden article about the ladybug invasion that takes place in Massachusetts every year.
   
   Those of us that did know him thank him for his contributions.

      Didn't know Bob but I'm always concerned when a fellow writer here is ill. Hope for the best for his family.

      I didn't know Bob Bamberg. Very sad news. Condolences to his family. Cancer is a very cruel disease.

   It’s sad when a writer here dies. I didn’t know Bob, but I’ve seen his name at various places on the site over the years. I’m sorry about his death and sorry for what his family must be going through.

   My heart goes out to Bob's family. Losing someone to cancer is not easy by any means.  I wish Bob more adventures and hope continues to write wherever he decides to go.

   Dr. Mark, thank you for posting about this.  This makes me so sad!  I saw the discussions between the two of you on some different articles and while you certainly didn't always agree, I appreciated that you were both so respectful of each other and your differences.  If more people conducted themselves this way, our world would most certainly be a better place.  We will keep Bob's family in our prayers.  Hope all is going well for you.  One of my Brazilian friends just sent us a care package with Brazilian coffee, real Brazil nuts and some guarana.  We will enjoy it all with gusto!

   I also didn't know him, but my heart goes out to the wife and family he left behind. May God give them the fortitude to bear the loss.
