    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article? What can I do to improve? Thanks!

      Hi there,

It's a news piece. That means it will be out of date in a month. HubPages wants 'evergreen' articles that are just as relevant after two years or more.

It also seems to be an overly promotional publicity statement. Again, that is not what HP is looking for. This is a site for writers, not for marketers.

The article is well written, but unsuitable for Hubpages. As others have mentioned, it is overly promotional and focuses solely on the positive things that this company and this CEO is doing. As such it closely resembles an advertorial or a press release disguised as an article. It will not pass quality assessment for that reason.

The only way to get it to pass would be to write a much more neutral article about developments in, for example, the field of electric motorcycles, talking about multiple manufacturers and the pros and cons of such a machine (such as reliability, range, speed) versus a conventional motorcycle.  You could still showcase some of the things your favorite company and glorious CEO is doing, but you would have to be a lot more subtle.

Hi, Jared. I think the problem is that your article seems to be designed to promote a particular business and its CEO. You might want to look at question 11 in the "Publishing Rules and Policies" part of the Frequently Asked Questions section of this site. I think some of what it says may apply to your article.

Hi Jared, It doesn't read like an article, more like a glossy advertisement in a magazine.  Perhaps you can write about electric vehicles or electric motorcycles.
I suspect you are interested in promoting José Boisjoli (CEO, President, and Chairman of the Board of BRP.) HP is not the place to do it.
