   "A lawyer for an indicted associate of Rudy Giuliani tells CNN that his client is willing to tell Congress about meetings the top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee had in Vienna last year with a former Ukrainian prosecutor to discuss digging up dirt on Joe Biden...

   Bondy tells CNN that his client and Nunes began communicating around the time of the Vienna trip. Parnas says he worked to put Nunes in touch with Ukrainians who could help Nunes dig up dirt on Biden and Democrats in Ukraine, according to Bondy.
   
   'Nunes had told Shokin of the urgent need to launch investigations into Burisma, Joe and Hunter Biden, and any purported Ukrainian interference in the 2016 election,' Bondy told CNN.
   
   'Mr. Parnas learned through Nunes' investigator, Derek Harvey, that the Congressman had sequenced this trip to occur after the mid-term elections yet before Congress' return to session, so that Nunes would not have to disclose the trip details to his Democrat colleagues in Congress,' said Bondy."

   Congressional travel records show that Nunes and his staff did travel to Europe last year from November 30 to December 3, but does not indicate exactly where or why.

   If Nunes did not go to Vienna and did not meet with Shokin, it should be trivial for him to demonstrate that by providing evidence of where he did go and who he did meet.
   
   If the allegation is true, it would mean Nunes is complicit with Trump's attempts to get dirt on the Bidens from Ukraine. Either way, Nunes is now implicated in the matter which is currently being investigated by the impeachment inquiry.

      Nunes said he cannot answer when asked if he met with ex Ukrainian prosecutor Victor Shokin or not.
      
      "Speaking on Fox News Sunday, Nunes was asked point-blank by the Fox news anchor whether he had met with Shokin. The congressman replied that he wanted to answer questions but could not do so 'right now.'"

         House Intelligence Committee reportedly has video and audio recordings of discussions with Trump and Giuliani. The content of those recordings is currently not publicly known:

         CNN did not claim Nunes met Shokin, Lev Parnas did. CNN reported on that allegation, and made no claims about the truth of it either way.
         
         It's perfectly legitimate for a news organization to report that an associate of Trump's personal Lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, has made a serious allegation against a member of Congress and is willing to testify to it. That is literally noteworthy information, i.e."news".
         
         The fact Representative Nunes doesn't like the allegation is irrelevant to whether CNN can tell people about it. That is why the First Amendment exists. If Nunes has sued for defamation, then he very likely has no case.
         
         Just like he probably has no case in his lawsuit against Twitter over a parody account called "Devin Nunes' Cow" where all the tweets are meant to be from "an unhappy cow living on one of Rep. Devin Nunes’ Iowa farms." That is clearly  satire, and will likely be thrown out also.

         It seem Nunes has a habit of filing lawsuits that are unlikely to succeed.
         
         In terms of the allegation, it's been reported that Nunes will likely face an ethics investigation over Parnas' allegation where he will undoubtedly have every opportunity to demonstrate whether or not he dmet with Shokin (in Vienna or elsewhere).

      There are large billboards in the Sana Maria area that are speaking about Nunes' questionable activities.  There is a large contigent there that is unhappy with him.  We will see how he fairs in the next election.

   I just heard a report that someone is willing to testify that Ilhan Omar has sworn allegiance to Turkey and is an asset of Qatar.
   
   I put as much faith in the truthfulness of that as the allegation against Nunez.

      If multiple U.S. ambassadors and Trump officials testify that Trump did X, then it's hard to believe that what they are saying is a smear or politically motivated.

      Then I'm sure you won't mind posting a source so people can evaluate the claim, and the source, for themselves.

      "Faith" is irrelevant. Either there is evidence that Nunes met with the Ukrainians to get dirt on the Bidens, as alleged, or there isn't. Reports suggest the House Intelligence Committee is currently reviewing material submitted in support of the allegation. Whether that material does in fact support the allegation is yet to be determined.

            I saw one that she was "recruited and funded by a foreign government and that Rep. Omar returned the favor by passing on sensitive information that ultimately wound up in the hands of Iran."
            
            I have a cousin that consistently posts this kind of crap; it's to the point that I just skip over most of what she posts.  Just as I skip over and ignore most of what I see in the political forums.

               Though while it may be possible to ignore such things, if the crux of what you consistently read contains this type of information, it becomes very difficult for it not to affect your opinions.
               
               I would say this about myself as well. I tend to read CNN for convenience, but I hate the way they've turned news reporting into a giant opinion piece. Yet, it's that convenience - really, the presentation of the news - that probably helps form some of my opinions.

            Your opinion doesn't change the fact that reliable sources have reported that Lev Parnas alleges Devin Nunes met with the Ukrainian prosecutor to get dirt on the Bidens, and the House Intelligence Committee is currently reviewing various material to determine if it supports that allegation.
