Sources in Text Capsules?

   Hi guys! I'm changing one of the papers I wrote last semester into an article. It was originally written in Microsoft Word and has plenty of endnotes. When I'm copy and pasting into a text capsule, the endnotes are automatically moved to the bottom of that capsule.
   Is there a way to have the endnotes go to a capsule at the bottom of the article, or do I delete them from each text capsule and copy and paste them in a separate capsule each time I add a section? I don't want to have each capsule have it's own sources- it just doesn't look right.

      You'll have to manually copy and paste them into the final text capsule. Why not make a copy of the original in Word and move them first?  It'll probably be faster than moving them from the text capsule.

         Thanks for your answer! I thought as much, but hoped there was another way to go about it.
         
         I actually tried making a copy in Word, but I have to break the link between the marker in the text and the actual note. It was rather surprising when I copied the first paragraph and the end notes came with it!

            I haven't used Word for years but isn't it possible to select the whole lot and remove the hyperlinks in a single operation?

               Apparently not. I found the option and gave it a go. I think that because I used the "Insert Endnote" option while writing it that the marker in the text and the actual note are permanently linked together. 
               Thankfully, Hubpages doesn't remove the marker when the endnote is moved, unlike Word. This should make it easier to stuff everything into a text capsule at the end.
               
               Quick question, since I don't normally move my school papers to articles. How many citations are too many for an online article? The paper itself was about 11 pages, ~3600 words. I used over 40 endnote citations. Would I be better off consolidating this into a sources list?

                  I can't say how many citations are "too many" for an article, but I have one on Owlcation with ~2900 words and I have 17 references at the end. HubPages accepted that.
                  
                  The important thing is that if they are links, they should be high quality reference sites that are respected by Google. Linking to low quality sites can negatively affect your ranking.

                     Hi Glenn! Thanks for your answer. I might remove some of the "Ibid" citations to lower the number a bit. All of the sources are books or journal articles, so I shouldn't get dinged by the Google overlords for them (I hope!)
