    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article? What can I do to improve? Thanks!
Here is my article: A Simple Secret to Happiness (must be signed in to view)

      It's unpublished.

Right, I found it. Maybe it's a Hubpages glitch because it's happening all the time lately.

      https://hubpages.com/health/The-Secret- … -Happiness

It's under Health. It may do better in the Spirituality category.

The word 'happy' appears 52 times. Try to reduce it by using synonyms.

You can't take images from Tumblr, Pinterest, etc. They have to have a Creative Commons (commercial) license. Try Pixabay and Unsplash. That may be the reason it has not passed QAP this time.

Personally, I would delete the comments as they are four years old. There could be some advantage in not having comments that date the article. I'm going to work through a lot of my old articles to get rid of them.

      Good luck.

Did you write the article yourself?

          I'm confused.

Okay. I found the article by going to your Activity tab. That's not your article. So you need to ignore what I wrote above. You could have mentioned I linked to the wrong article.

So, firstly, your title is a little too similar to Deborah's. Her article will rank higher than yours.

You have it under Education. Should be Spirituality.

There are a lot of grammatical errors throughout. Over-long sentences, random capitalisation, poor punctuation (never use double question marks), etc. Use Grammarly to help you fix them. Then try Hemingway to improve the style. Both are free.

Part of the article is way too close to that other one.

The subtitles are not in APA form. Use this tool to correct them: https://capitalizemytitle.com/

Delete the 'burbling water' one. It's usually unnecessary to add a subtitle to an image and it isn't written in proper English.

Change the enigma image. The Enigma machine was a WW2 encryption device and nothing to do with your topic.

The main problem is that there are a zillion articles on the web on the subject of happiness and you aren't really adding anything new. Therefore the article won't attract readers or earn you any money. Think about what unique knowledge you have that would be worth sharing.

          Good luck.

There's a huge difference in the standard of written English used in the article compared with your comments on this thread. Like theraggededge, I too doubt whether the article is all your own work.

There's no point in copying someone else's work and pretending it's your own.  The original article will be ranked higher by Google and yours will earn nothing. When the true author finds out, they will ask the search engines to delete your copy and so all your effort will be wasted.

No, that's not his. See previous posts.

This is the correct one: https://discover.hubpages.com/education … 77zsakszcg

OK I see that now. His version has little chance of passing QAP.

that article is mine only , and English is my 2nd language and while writing article i re corrected it again and again as per instructions of "theraggedge"

So by all means article is original, written by me only

If you read my post, you'll see why I questioned it. I thought it was the one you had commented on in your Activity because it had almost the same title.

I've given you feedback you can use to improve your article.
