Thanks for sharing Misbah's article, Brenda. As a woman with several tattoos, I found it interesting. I actually have three: Pegacorn (a combination of Pegasus and a unicorn) on my right upper thigh, sun and clouds, to the right of my left hipbone and the entire portion of my upper back is home to a Pegasus set in the center surrounded by the sun, stars, clouds, blue sky, mountains, a pond and water grasses.
As a Florida resident, I love dolphins. It's a sign of good luck and safe journey when a pod of dolphins lead the way when on a boat. This has happened to me several times and it's a joyful sight each and every time.
Great job, Mishbah! Hopefully this will be moved from Discover to TatRing. Good luck!
Wow, Shauna. Thank you for sharing your knowledge about tattoos. You have so many of them. Pegacorn sounds so fascinating and beautiful. Thank you so much for reading and your encouraging comment. Much appreciated
Take care and keep smiling!
Much love and Blessings!
Misbah...
I can honestly say I've never seen anyone with a dolphin tattoo, but they look quite beautiful & unique.
I like the way you describe each one and the reasons for having one.
Like...it's peaceful and a new beginning.
Cool article.

A fascinating article Misbah. I have seen a couple of people having Dolphin tattoos, and they are both singers. As per them, it helps to give a "freshness" to their singing. Not sure what that means. Thanks for this information.
Thanks, Brenda, for sharing Misbah's article.
Ravi, thank you very much for reading and for your interesting comment. Dolphin tattoos symbolize a new (fresh) beginning, leaving the past behind. The relationship these animals have with their environment especially with water contributes to the sense of renewal.
In Celtic art, dolphins are always associated with water which is known as a cleanser. It washes away the past and purifies and rejuvenates body and spirit ready for a fresh start.
Maybe the reason those singers claimed that it helps to give a "freshness" to their singing
Take care and stay blessed!
It was breath-taking going through the dolphin tattoos, and I enjoyed looking at them, learning their meanings. I sure had a good time, doing it. Thanks for all the info, Misbah.
Thanks, Brenda, for sharing.
This is an interesting article as I never knew there was such a long history of dolphin tattoos, Misbah.
Thanks for posting Misbah's article, Brenda.
I don’t plan to get a tattoo, but if I did, I think a dolphin would be a great choice. Dolphins are lovely and intriguing animals. I found the history section of Misbah’s article especially interesting. I enjoyed reading about the significance of dolphins in different cultures and times.
