Hi! It’s January 22, but my earnings report is STILL updating. My plan was to delete all articles once I logged in and saw 0 earnings.
Can someone from HubPages please explain what is going on? Have you not disabled earnings? Are you retroactively cutting earnings? I’ll take all the pennies I can get, but if the earnings report can’t be trusted at this time then I want to go ahead and delete everything. Also, TAG, you do not have my permission to use my content for HubPages or anything else if I don’t receive payment. You have to communicate for any content you want to use, and I must agree to it. I don’t want to see my old content appearing on different TAG publications.
From the HubPages Announcement:
Earnings Program Reminder
Earnings will no longer accrue starting January 20, 2026. Earnings generated from activity through January 19, 2026 will be applied and paid out by the end of March. This will be the final period during which content can generate earnings through the HubPages Earnings Program.
8 days later popping in to say I have a long column now of pending earnings. I plan to start deleting in mass on February 1st. HP’s earning system is weird, but I don’t think those pending earnings are coming through, so better to delete it all away.
Mine did for a few days after I removed all the articles. Residual views catching up, I presumed.
I wouldn't remove the articles until your money has been deposited to your PayPal account.
What to do if my PayPal account was closed, as I am a foreigner and didn't update some information required by them?
I hope HP can pay me through a cheque or NEFT transfer.
TAG/HP strictly uses PayPal. Perhaps you can have a trusted friend or family member receive the last payment for you. Good luck!
Thanks, Kenna, for the suggestion. I may provide my son's account when HP contacts me to provide my PayPal account details.
They won't contact you - you need to add the details to your account so the payment happens automatically. If you don't, you may miss out.
Good. Hubpages will not reach out to you in any fashion. Update your account now with your son's information. That way, you know you'll get paid.
Only one problem. HubPages it not going to make its final payout to each Hubber until March, but any article left on the platform after the end of February may become unremovable from their platform. In HubPages' last communication to everyone, they told us to remove all our articles from their platform before the end of February or they would keep them on the platform indefinitely to earn The Arena Group money until they took down the platform completely. It's kind of unfair when you think about it.
Your account stays live even if you remove all your articles.
In HubPages' notification to us two weeks ago, they made it sound as though none of us would have access to our accounts after the end of February. Here is the link to the notification >>> https://hubpages.com/community/forum/36 … publishing
I never got the e-mail for this notification. I found out about it from one of my fellow Hubbers, so probably a lot of people don't even know about it.
That's access to your articles not your account.
Does that mean that we can still delete our articles from our HubPages account after the end of February?
The official communication says to remove your articles by the end of Feb.
Removing your articles will not close your account until HP closes it, maybe at the time of that final payment or possibly before.
I think we can delete the account after receiving the earnings.
Yes, that is, until you delete your account. We may not like deleting the account until our earnings are fully paid. Once paid, delete the account.

Hello dear friends, I just want to know the structure of earnings on HP here.Do earnings start after two years on HubPages? Is this guideline of HubPages true as I read. Is it necessary to join earnings program to see your earnings get started? As I don't have PayPal account I have yet not joined...

Can someone answer for me how Maven is benefiting us as writers. I have noticed a slight but no significant upswing in page views. Also if we need to update old articles instead of writing new ones, dos this not indicate that we are jumping through hoops for google? Please give your...

I had earning a long time ago but, somehow, they disappeared. I am a computer dummie so I gave up trying to figure out how to get it back. The first two times were very difficult and twice is quite enough -- so I have no account and I no longer make a dime (I did get two payments over the years,...

Hi fellow writers,Yesterday I recognized that the homepage of HubPages has a new design and in the mid of this I discovered a fellow writer with the most earnings here at HubPages. He's a member since 7 years, has published 55 articles which have been read over 1,000,000 times and he makes over $...

I am at a point where I don't know if I should spend the little time that I have updating my numerous hubs across 4 accounts, or just ignore, and write new hubs. It has become tiring. I haven't had the inspiration to write more, just because I am made to feel that all I have written in the past...
