   I have been with google adsense a while and my account still shows zero even though I have had 115 reads. Is there some wrong with me account

      its not readers, its clicks on advertisements that matters.

      I'm new... so I dont know much except... you only have one hub. Seems kinda high expectations to expect cash already. I've had 175 views 9 days into this. I dont think thats too great at all, neither do i expect $$ until search engines begin to find me.
      Is that right? What do you old timers think?

         Thats right UPstar - check your traffic sources from your 'my account' page. It is well known that internal hubpages traffic does not earn you any money. Hubbers don't click. Organic traffic clicks.
         Over time you want your primary source of traffic to be google, followed by yahoo, etc.
         Also remember that click through rates are low. 2% is not a bad conversion.
         When you take into account the fact that the hubpages adsense code will be in the ads featured 40% of the time, you are doing well if you get 1 click every 90 -100 page views of organic traffic.
         This is why you need to build 1000's of page views before the adsense really starts rolling in.

   115 'reads' over 'a while' means very little traffic.

   115 views won't give you anything, unless one of the ads displayed on your site was a pay per impression ad.
   
   As kkavya said, you get most money for clicks - hardly anything for an impression alone!
   
   If you want to make money through adsense, I would suggest choosing your keywords carefully. Look for something will little competition  and make sure it is worth your time. I've written a hub about making money on adsense if you wanna dig it up.

   to make money on google adsense you need to have alot of traffick and if you dont have a lot of traffick then what traffick you do have coming to your site need's to be targeted.
   
   When i started out on adsense i had a website referring products, I diverted my traffick from ebay as i was new to the whole thing, I had very little traffick maybe 30 hits a day but was still earning around $1 a day (which is nothing i know)the point is the traffick was targeted and they were clicking on the relevent ad's

   I understand people want to make money. But to be honest, I like being on HubPages just as a stress releiver. If I make money here, then that is just a by-product to me.

      i understand what you are saying but to not monetize your content would be like having the winning numbers written down in the lottery but not playing the draw, Making money online is a common dream and i think its more easier now than it ever has been, With adsense mainly + other affiliate and ad networks

   An effective, search-engine-catching, title (I've learned the hard way) can make the difference in whether one article gets traffic (and then ad clicks) or not.  After not realizing the importance of the right words in the title for quite a while, I now try to have a "no-nonsense/straight-and-to-subject" title (rather than a creative one); and then use "cleverness" (or at least what I hope may be clever) on the sub-title.  That can mean settling for a title I don't think is the greatest, but it also means I can write I wanted to write.  In other words, I had to unlearn the thing about "an eye-catching headline" and settle, instead, for a search-engine-catching one.  (My whole first hundred or so Hubs need new titles one of these days when I'm in the mood.)

   i think that when your hubs recieve a high amount of traffick then you should start to earn some revenue. You can direct traffick to your site/hub/blog by interacting with others in forums, Maybe posting something completely origional and it might go viral, there are many hubs/blogs and articles about this
   traffick is the key then niche then ad placement
