If your birthday is on a holiday, here's your chance to share your joy or pain? big_smile

Although, I was born the day after Thanksgiving, every seven years, I get to have a Thanksgiving birthday like this year! Most years everyone wants to celebrate my birthday on Thanksgiving when it is NOT.  This year everyone wanted to celebrate it on Friday... Go Figure! big_smile

I was born three days after Christmas. And much to my surprise, the ancients Celts celebrated opposit day on that date.

My due date was supposed to be Easter of that year, but I was late.  However, my birthday does sometimes fall on Easter, as it did this past year.

    Vermont Admission Day.

Too bad I've never been to Vermont. But I do like Ben and Jerry's ice cream.

        Hi Crazdwriter!

I use to call my grandfather, Papa as well.  And you are right there is a sadness on your loved one's birthday even years after they are gone!

    I'm a Thanksgiving birthday quite often as well.  I'm Nov 25.  I have a cousin who's a Leap Year baby...Feb 29

So KCC does your family celebrate your birthday on the right day or are they confuse like my family and try to do it on Thanksgiving?  Leap year as a birthday...that should be interesting! When it is not leap year do they celebrate on the 28th or the 1st?

I was born on the Feast of the Three Kings - 6th of January. Not exactly a holiday but nonetheless a special day - at least for me! LOL cool

A father in one of the three families that my family always celebrates New Year's with was born on January 1, so we always chant: "Happy New Year's! Happy birthday Jalle!"

Now that's a great idea! I would imagine that being born on New Year's would be pretty cool, because there is always a party going on somewhere smile

Ummm...the anniversary of Paul Revere's ride? Okay, not exactly a holiday. My son, on the other hand, was born on winter solstice, and with his fourth birthday coming up this year it's really starting to sink in how much fun this birthday in such close proximity to Christmas is going to be to plan and celebrate every year.

    I'm a Christmas Eve baby.

My wife wants me to celebrate my birthday in October instead of having all the celebrations at once.

4.30 am Father's Day. Never forget it every year even though my birthday is not always on Father's Day. Youngest son too and I only had him to love for 7 1/2 years.
