   What advice would you give a writter when they feel their stuff is nit good enough.

      As a young writer that feels I can always do better in return am always doubting my work, this what someone told me...each piece a work you write from the heart is a part of you so if you feel your work isn't good enough believe in you and give your all in your work

      Don't quit yer day job, just in case things don't work out... but, there ain't no reason for giving up on writing, though. There's a lot of crap out there, and a lot of it moving around in literary circles, so the appeal is somewhere out there. Even if your writing is exciting to only one in a million, remember that there are seven billion people on this earth, so there oughta be seven thousand fans out there right now...
      
      The trick is to find those people and thrill them with everything you got...

   *Take time to develop the ideas, to where you are satisfied with them. 
   *It doesn't hurt to write a second, third or even fourth draft of something. 
   *Have a friend edit and help to developed the idea or point out where thought are incomplete.
   *Don't be afraid to cut out unnecessary words, thought, or descriptions.
   *Developing your voice comes with time.  Don't be afraid to experiment with different styles of writing.  In the meantime, read a variety of writing.  Notice what works for you and what doesn't; ie. why you like what you like.
   
   *If grammar and spelling are an issue, run your work through a grammar and spelling check.  (I have one on my tool bar.)

   Princess-sisi, I'm a perfectionist too. That's why I only have 3 hubs! You have to learn to recognize when you've written something worth reading, even if it isn't up to your standards. Also, remember that you can edit hubs after they're published! I've been tweaking mine over the last several days.
   
   As far as writing rough drafts goes...I agree with Ivorwen, drafts are very helpful! I usually hand-write a rough draft, type it up, print it out, mark all over it, rewrite by hand, then type it up again. You don't need to do that much though! Just write a draft and then sleep on it. Sometimes coming back to a piece you've written will highlight everything that needs to be fixed, or you may find that you were too harsh before!
