Pretty self explanatory.  What celebrity voices do you like and why?

Here's a little starter:  James Earl Jones, Morgan Freeman, and Don LaFontaine (the movie trailer announcer guy) all stand out for having very strong, often intense vocal timbres.

Sigourney Weaver narrates Planet Earth, which is part of what makes it so enjoyable.

Ah, Sigoruney Weaver - there's just something about her.

Planet Earth is amazing by the way.  Its one of the greatest things that's ever been on television.

That reminds me of Hugh Laurie.  Whether he's speaking as a proper Brit or, convincingly, in his damaged American grumble, he's certainly identifiable.  Gotta love those pipes.

Good - and I must say, unexpected - choices so far.  How about some females?

I personally like Catherine Keener's raspy, but at times very nurturing and delicate voice.
Joan Rivers, who uses it for great comic effect.
Emily Watson, who often sounds so coy and inviting.

    Any others?

sorry no girls come to mind right now. will think on it.
I like David Attenborough. No clue if he is 'famous' or not, but he has a nice voice, for narration.

      I'll allow it.

I just remembered Werner Herzog.  His narration is a big part of what made Grizzly Man so intriguing the first time.
