      the fact is, if you say anything mean or personal attacky to someone, they can report you. There is a REPORT button after each and every post.
      there ARE rules. Wether anyone likes them or not, you do click..."I agree".. to join.
      I personaly, adore Tantrum, and I hope she knows that. I do not see that she did anything wrong. I would have not reported her.
      But really....You can not blame hubpages itself. Can you imagine, what the staff puts up with?
      Rules are rules, it is a business.(I am not discussing if anyone thinks these rules are reasonable. Thats the wole point of the 'I agree buton'. If you didnt like them, you should have not clicked it..) If someone feels attacked, they click report. Due to the rules, the staff must act accordignly. Some are here for the forums, some to be social, some to make money. Personally...I like a little fun. I mean really...if your reading this..youve seen me beofre...I like to swear on occasion, and if I get mad I want to call names..I will never report someone, I try to see the other point of view.
      BUT you can not control how others act.
      You can only control yourself. IF you choose to break the TOS, AND get reported, you will deal with a 3 day ban from the forums...or make a new account and spew anger...
      wether or not anyone agrees is not the point.

   I like and enjoy Tantrum but am only mildly surprised. I don't think she really crossed the line with the rules against personal attacks but I do think a person with low self esteem and low confidence could feel hurt by her words easily. Unfortunately not everyone feels secure in them selves I think tantrum is very secure in her self and she will be back in a few days with a few words to say about it all. I will miss her for the next couple of days tho, that girl can make me laugh!

   It doesn't really look like Tantrum did anything worth getting banned for. She was just stating her opinion about how childish she thought the OP was being.
   
   Other than saying "you're disgusting" (to which she obviously meant the OP's attitude toward using the forum as his own personal report form was disgusting), there really is nothing insulting there.
   
   If that's a "personal attack", then what is this world coming to?

          really, I understand, censorship stinks.
          
          these people in question didnt do anything I PERSONALY consider wrong.
          
          but...other people have different views, beliefs, opinions, feelings.....you may not agree with them, but does that mean it matters less?
          
          its 3 days, that they knew they had coming.
          
          does there really need to be so many threads about it?
          
          I feel like when I was in high school, they cancelld AIDS awareness day. Some parents felt thier kids didnt need to know about sex from school. 90 percent of the senior class staged a "walk out" they felt it was "unfair" that "the man" was keeping them down. they had a RIGHT to this knowledge..
          they all went off, skipped school, got drunk, had sex....they ddint actually give a care to health ed, they just wanted an excuse to skip schoool...

    Do not try to get around the ban by posting through sock-puppets. Just wait your 3 days, publish Hubs instead if you like, and then adhere to the rules.
