Photos won't upload - URGENT

   I can't get images to upload from my PC .  I've done this before, lots, so know what I'm doing. the images are small about 450k odd.  I select the image then click "load Images" and it says uploading now with the hp wheel turning - but it lies  - even after 20min it hasnt done.  I've tried several times over the last hour - is something down HP end?

   I've loaded several today, and had no problems.  However, yesterday I couldn't paste anything into the text capsules.  The little wheel would turn and turn to no avail!

   That kinda suggests that it might be a server load issue - their backend is getting really busy and timing out  The past function has been working OK all morning for me!  P.S. LOVE your new profile image!

   Thanks, wish I could say I actually looked like that these days!
   
   I just tried to edit my hub, cut a section out and it won't let me paste it into the other capsule.  Must go and paste it into Word so i don't lose it!

   Working now - I suspect a server load problem -  I wonder what time they do backups in California?

   Nothing appears out of the ordinary on the servers.  Is anyone else having trouble with photo upload?
   
   As for the pasting problem.  If you're using firefox when you try and paste using CTRL-V into a text capsule it pops open a new window (which will strip out any HTML formatting).  Be sure your  browser isn't blocking the popup if you use this method.  However, here's a little secret -- if you paste using the browser edit menu by selecting paste it won't pop open a window (and you can paste in HTML, although all the unsupported tags will be stripped out).  Let me know if that helps.

   I uploaded 5 pics a few hours ago with no problem, and another 4 or 5 not that long ago with no problem.
   
   I havent had any photo problems since that Thanksgiving thing. I'm on a Mac and using Firefox.
   
   Firefox, on the other hand, has been screwing up royally lately - dunno how it's been on a PC. I'm seriously thinking of going Safari.
   
   Edited to say: We can add HTML?!? I didn't know that..

      Sort of you can.  I think some people compose hubs directly in html, and paste them in already formatted.   Maybe someone that does this can chime in with more detail.

   I'm using IE.  Pasting doesn't work, whether I try Ctrl+V, right click and Paste, "Edit" from the browser and paste, or the Paste button in the capsule. 
   
   It happened yesterday for most of the day.  I could start the Hub, compose my Amazon capsule, upload photos, rearrange the layout, but I couldn't paste text to save my life.  I could type directly into the capsule though.
   
   It happened again a few minutes ago, but only briefly. 
   
   Dropping back in to say that it's doing it again now - haven't been able to edit my hubs for the last hour or so. Frustrating -  as I've said elsewhere, I'm doing a bit of a caretaking job right now and was hoping to occupy my idle hands by working on my Hubs.  Darn!

   Thanks for the tip on using the Edit menu to paste in Firefox, Paul.  I always paste using Ctrl-V and the pop-up box really annoys me.
   
   I'll try that next time.
   
   What problems have you had with Firefox Isabella?  Every so often it seems to decide to ignore all my requests to go to a new page and I have to close it down and restart.  I'm on a PC.
