Persistence and the technical knowhow if you want success online, but surely an entrepreneurs spirit is equally important.

actually studies have shown that kids of really rich parents don't really succeed.  however, they do have money so it depends on how to define success.

Success boils down to one complex ability. That ability is the removing of limitations.

Once you've experience how to remove a single limitation, then you can become integrated and able to discern truth from almost any situation, so as to remove any limitation, either set by you on yourself or others on you. smile

Success usually comes after much trial and error!! A positive attitude and lots of hard work (except for those who inherit wealth - but that is not success in and of itself)

Really enjoyed reading all of the responses..  I would say that Success in business begins with being teachable, working not only hard but working smart, doing your homework, being persistant, keep moving forward during the slow times, learn from those smarter than you.

    Success is like a mirage.
The closer you get, the further away it moves.
Can you ever say,"I have arrived at success?"

Perhaps setting goals is more appropriate. At least they sit still. (unless you move them) lol

A lot of excellent responses here! ..and I agree with all of them.

I'll add one more: Self Knowledge.

As a wise man once said, "This above all, to thine own self be true."

I don't think that anyone can really know success until they've stopped and really examined themselves; what they want out of life, what the definition of success is to them, what really drives them, etc..

Once you have true self realization, then I think you can have success..

Listening and REALLY hearing what is being conveyed is of upmost importance to make a success of your job as well as who you are.  Acting on what you heard to create positive results elevates your success exponentially for all.

I think it's important for me to have support! If no one is supporting my efforts, I have a hard time staying on track.
