   For me, often a good laugh is better than sex.  Not always.

   Unless you have been making love to a plank of wood, no laughter is not better than sex, I like to laugh and have fun but sex is so good I like it twice per day without fail, sex is the very essence of life, if your not enjoying it your not doing it, feel the love

   It depends on whether it's good, emotionally-connected sex or not. Laughter is better than any sex I ever had with my ex, because the laughter was quite enjoyable and got the endorphins flowing, and actually made me feel good. That said...no laughter could ever be as good as sex with my husband...I've had many a great laugh that still doesn't compare to even the least stimulating sex I've had with him.

      Personally I think sex and laughter merit equal ground but I'm testosterone challenged.  If you find yourself in a space of total bliss just from laughing (especially with a partner or friend) that would get my vote. Likewise with sex. I sure hope I never get too old or too grouchy to live without either

    Well I believe that sleep, laughter, and sex have much in common,,,While they are all nice to have every day all three are not absolutely necessary every day ....

       Being laughed AT during sex, is just wrong.
       Being laughed WITH during sex, is a lot of fun.
       
       Good Sex doesn't have to be serious (all the time).
       
       Laughter is a good thing, sex is a good thing...rating one as better than the other is to me like trying to rate a slow song or a fast song as better than the other...
       
       It depends on the mood, and who your dancing with...

    When I was a kid, I thought that sex must be hilarious because it was always preceeded by my dad laughing hysterically.  Turned out he was laughing at my mother as she climbed out of her corsets.  I gather they weren't the sexy kind.  But it might explain why he was always so slim.

    Well, laughter and sex - two of life's great pleasures! Is one better than the other? I think it depends on the time, the place and who you're with. Sometimes the two mix - sex can be fun, laughter pleasure and passion all interwoven.
    
    I kinda like both in good measure!

    Sometimes laughter is better than sex because sex isn't 'spectacular, unbelievable, incredibly great' all of the time for anyone.  Sometimes it's just 'good' and serves the purpose, which is fine. But hysterical laughter, the kind that makes you cry from laughing so hard, probably tops it on those occasions. Fortunately, we don't have to make a choice, we can have both -- at the same time or not.
    
    One thing is certain. As the old truism goes, "Those who talk about sex the most do it the least."
