What do people with animal photos as profile pictures really look like

   I think that they are all so beautiful that they are afraid of stalkers...
   Or are they all celebreties with nothing better to do with their lives, they cant go out or they will be recognised so they hide behind pictures of cute kittens and chat endlessly online!!!

      None of the above!  I hate most pics of myself but all three of our cats are very photogenic.  It really is that simple. 
      
      Oh, and I nurse a fond (but almost certainly deluded) hope that having an animal as my avatar means that people are more likely to respond to what I actually write, rather than filtering it through a mental image of what they think my views are based on my IRL picture.  If that makes sense.

         yes, but then, I have carefully examined your cat who genuinely reflects your personality and this cat is telling me you are kinky as can be and it is a closely guarded secret.  this cat says you are very hard to understand, that you sometimes just fall down on the floor and pound it with your fists - the cat wants to know why that is!  what if pets could talk ?  well, they can!  even through pictures!

                  did you know that it is really the animals who talk to me who do the whispering?  well, actually they just send the thoughts, usually there aren't any real words involved, straight to my mind!  It's sometimes very disconcerting! to say the least.

   After spending so long as a baby raccoon I gotta say it was nice getting the attention for being such a cute furry face! I started to wonder if my profile pic was getting me followers
   Now its me on there and I have had some nice compliments so I guess I can still enjoy the attention

            a small fan pointed up from the floor works  - also let it grow while you sit in a dark room in front of the puter for 10 hours a day, don't bother to brush it

                           I have in the past spent so much time on the forums that I wonder if I shouldn't find a 12 step program for HP forum addicts! Honestly I should be working on a hub now! so close to 100 too! and unpublished hubs I am at 99 but I get way to hooked on the forums! Maybe I should get myself banned

         I had to work hard for that hair!
         Spent ages with it up in curlers, loads of products to fix the curls in place and by the end of the day it was still flat as could be
         I love curly hair and more then half the perms I have had have fallen out after a week!
         Lucky so and so's with naturally curly hair

   these threads are the only place I have to act out, my job requires that I stay calm and polite at all times!  arghhhh! for a personality like mine that is really stultifying!  So I get manic every few days and spend a day quipping and flirting and being as nasty as I can be within HP policy and it saves my freeky life! no lie.  why am I telling you all this?  no idea

   There are a lot of new faces at HubPages in the last 6 months. However, I would like to point out that there are plenty of hubbers who use avatar pictures other than their own self portrait.
   
   There are plenty of people who use pictures of themselves, but also change their picture from time to time.
   
   I've created two different, but similar hubs so as to help them promote themselves. Many had to give me a picture to be on/in the hub.
   
   The category to find my hubs on the Women Writers In HubPages Community can be found under Spreading HubLOVE.
   
   If you are looking for real pictures of most of the women who participate in the forum community, then you can see them on the hub.
