EVERY single time I post on Snipsly, my computer freezes up. This is the only site that causes this problem. Anyone else had this experience?

that's funny. it hasn't been doing that to me.  maybe you should try rebooting to see if that works. it might be just your pc.

I gave up on snipsly just because it was sooooo slow.  Plus the fact that my AVG anti-virus stuff puts a big red flag up when I enter the site kind of freaked me out too!

I use internet explorer and Snipsly always freezes when I start to put the tags in, and I get an error message about the script that is running.  I have also had the warning problem from AVG, but that seems to have stopped.

It makes posting on Snipsly very slow and frustrating.

A while ago I had this problem:

When I finished my post, the Snipsly window would drop to the background and all my other open browser windows would jump to the front. I thought it was me at first, but it happend again and again.

Safari and Firefox both. I e-mailed them, they said they were upgrading their server and things were buggy. Recently though Snipsly has been working correctly for me technically, but not working for me in terms of traffic. So I've abandoned it for now.

    Morning Habee!
My problem with Sniply is the photos. I write an article and no matter how I place the picture...the words are messed up around the picture. I have tried pic at top, size from small to largest size and always end up with like two-word lines down the side of the pic. Looks very weird.
So, I have stayed away from Sniply for the most part.
The site I have the most problem with computer freezing up is Redgage! Especially anything other than using the "Link." I have tried for days to use the "Blog" since people here on HP have said that was the best way to profit there. But, it doesn't work when I try to use it.
And before the "reboot your puter, clear cookies, etc start"...it only happens on Redgage. It is not always a cookie, cache or reboot problem.

RE RedGage: They are still working as a beta site. This is my most recent message from them. They are working out their bugs:

"The tech team says no later than Friday.... but you never know with tech team dates.  It is like Dr's handwriting ;c)

Thanks for understanding!  As we leave our beta stage, we are hoping to perfect the last of the glitches within the next few weeks.

      Take care

I have just now gotten back to the issue. I get a "document uploading not available" message.
I'm assuming that you are working at it - I will check back in a bit.
      "

I will say though that Snipsly was always quick to respond to me when I contacted them with problems.
      Has anybody e-mailed them?

Thanks Wyanjen. I knew it had to be more than a reboot.

Oh, good!  So they're trying to fix it?  I am having major problems trying to upload photos on redgage (no problems with links and blogs for me) .. hopefully this will get sorted out soon!

I have not had any success with snipsly, not sure if I will pursue it either and I found it awfully slow also.

Oh, and we don't know what the AVG thing is all about either.

But you can be sure that Snipsly responds to you.
