   What is the best fashion or beauty advice you've ever received or given? I'd love to know!
   
   Mine would probably be: Wear something form-fitting enough to make you a woman, but loose enough to be a lady.

      I'd say wear something loose enough to be ready to be a woman and tight enough to have time to think about being a lady.

   Pick different assortment of colors. Make a variety so you can have something for everyday of the week.

      aw, actually I say stuff like that to people all the time. We're not mean, honest. We literally just can't help ourselves since we have a passion for it.
      
      Its like telling a Republican that Obama is a fantastic president and not expecting him to say anything. Thats how inclined we feel to speak when we see something atrocious!!

   For a woman:Do not wear too high heels, or too low-cut pants. No one need to see your underwear or what's under it anyway, and high heels (too high) will damage your feet for sure, even if you don't feel it now, you'll suffer later. You should feel comfortable in your clothes, but still remember: your stylish dress and your pajamas are different things for different occasion. Do not walk in public in clothes that look like your pajamas. It's not nice especially for a woman.
   For a man: Do you really need to shave your head?

   Also she gave us: Before leaving the house, always take off one piece of jewelry.
   
   Homegirl: lol! I agree except for the men's one, I really can't since my bf always shaves his head.

    Personally I never ever match my shoes with my bag because I die for contrasts. Its probably why I am obsessed with leather and lace.
    
    And hot pink with deep purple. LOL

    Know your body. Your clothes should play up your strongest assets. Also, you look best in clothes that are correctly proportioned to your size and shape.

    i like tailored, simple clothes. you can't go wrong with nicely fitting clothes, as the OP said, snug but not tight. skirts should be no more than an inch above the knee, and choose several classic pieces and mix and match them. accessories should also be simple and not overdone. i know lots of women like pointy shoes and really high heels but my personal preference is a slightly squared toe and heels no higher than 3 inches.

    When you get dressed in the morning, get dressed in something that makes you feel good (you believe that you look great wearing). When we believe we look great we protrude confidence and that is the best look anyone can have.

    The best fashion advice I've ever received is to be comfortable with whatever you wear. No matter how "designer" or "expensive" or "totally now" it is...if you're not comfortable wearing it, you won't wear it well.

       When trying something on in a shop, I always ask myself "Does this garment/pair of shoes make me even the tiniest bit self-conscious?".  If the answer's "yes", I don't buy it.

    Don't wear pink with purple, green with blue (why not?  I see it all the time!!)
    Black, white, gray, go with anything
    Match lipstick with nail polish (I don't wear either!  lol)

    Be careful when wearing animal prints. It's too much if you are wearing a zebra print dress/shoes and carry a zebra print bag. (I say this because I just saw this and OMG-she even had the tips of her nails done and a matching headband with the design!)

    The best advice would be to dress for your body shape.
    Wear white close to the face ie: Pearl earrings, necklace, white shirt.
    Always check in the mirror before leaving the house and remove one item. (Coco Chanel)

    I think for me the old saying works well for me, even though it is not meant to be about fashion.
    
    I would not wear any fashion just because it was fashionable if it did not suit me.
    
    The colour and texture of fabrics is always important to me. I try to shop less now than I did five years ago so when I do buy clothes they go with/compliment the clothes already in my wardrobe.
