What is your most addictive habit that is VERY HARD to b-r-e-a-k?     You try to break the habit but you simply, C-A-N-N-O-T!    Each time you think that you have broken the habit, you sense something beckoning you back in!

OK this may fall under a slight case of obsessive/compulsive but for the life of me I can't stop clipping gray hairs outta my head. It's not vanity or the fact I mind having some at this age but when the scissors are laying on the bathroom sink and I go in to brush teeth or whatever, I just gotta pick um up and start snipping away. Any advice?

Our kids use to tell their friends on sleepovers:  "When dad gets up, we don't do NOTHING until he's had his coffee...and that crease between his eyes goes away". LOL

Kids are grown now, with kids of their own, and when they come over they check to see if the crease is gone from between my eyes.  :-)

Booze. And soda. And fast food. Probably red meat too. Maybe avoiding exercise. Does insulting people who exercise count? How about cussing? Porn? I really want to start using tobacco again. I'm rooting for the pothead movement to finally make it legal too, just, so, you know, it's an option to consider. Not saying I would. Just saying, an option, you know?

I think this is not a good thread for me so I'm leaving now.

    Smoking.  Smoking.  And....smoking.

It's the only thing I do knowing full well that it's killing me slowly.  I hate knowing what it's doing to me, but I love doing it.

    Sigh.

I quit once for five years.  Looking to do it again permanently at some point.

Ordering food in. I do it too often and I keep vowing to stop. But, I get hungry, don't feel like cooking, order food... I'm proud of myself today, I almost ordered in lunch but made myself put something together.

Too bad you're not closer to me, UW. You could join us for Thanksgiving! Already today, I've baked a pecan pie, a pumpkin pie, a sweet tater pie, and an apple crumb pie. A made-from-scratch punkin' pie is in the oven now, and an apple-cranberry pie is waiting to go in! My ham is marinating, my pork butt and whole turkey are curing with BBQ rubs, and my turkey breast is in the brining solution. Man, my house smells GREAT!!

I'd have to say Music and Anime, not that I would ever give either up. ^^ I have my phases with both of them, but they end up having a strong place in my life at one time or another.

    Sugar.
I can go without any for long stretches. But when that craving hits, it is ON.
M&M's anyone? I think I might have a handful left from the bag I opened while grocery shopping.
    Bad. Very, very bad.
But at least I can't get arrested for driving under the influence of chocolate!
    lol

The Internet. Not just HubPages, although that's a big chunk of it. Not that I want to quit completely, I just need to manage it better. I can't pass my computer without stopping to check something. I can't tell you how much food I've burned because of it.
