Just to let everyone know. My husband finished his chemo and went for a scan weeks later. The mass in his chest was gone. He is back to work and doing very well other than some problems with his breathing from COPD. He doesn't have to see the doctor again until Aug.
We are so happy about this but I worry because I know how creepy cancer is and that it can pop up someplace else. We will enjoy what we have for now.
I would rather he not work but he goes crazy without something to do. They are good to him at work and watch over him. It helps him, he doesn't set around and worry so much.
Thanks everyone for all the prayers.
Thank you for sharing your good news with us. Best wishes for continued health and happiness.
Yahoo, trust in God that it will not return. Blessings to you both.
Congratulations. You are right to live in the moment and pray it won't come back. My husband has cancer in remission, so I can relate to the situation. Prayers and light are on the way. Blessings. Audrey
So glad to hear your good news. My best wishes to both of you.

Wonderful news! I just heard a piece on NPR that address the stress of STAYING HOME. Not only is this great news for you and your husband and family, but by posting it, you also make all of us more hopeful for our own triumphs over this (let's just call it) "pesky" disease. (I don't want to dignify it by naming it
