With all the many kinds of contagious diseases known to mankind I often worry what is the most deadliest to us? I am wondering what my fellow hubbers seem to think and why?
Oh that was my answer too
so I will sneak in another .........Poverty/Hunger
Phoniness...and the worst part is. Carriers dont know they have it, so they go on infecting everyone they come across. Best protection is the anti-phoniness shield. Available from all leading stores worldwide.
I do not even pretend to know the answer to this question as everyone will have a different opinion on this one. What is the deadliest disease perhaps though, having too big of an ego maybe.
I wanted to say something like this and was just about to figure out that I want to say stupidity I found your post.
This beautifully sums up deadliest diseases. Nothing has been more deadly then stupidity.
My exact words.
Mark would say "religion". And then see "stupidity". And then ask "what's the difference?".
Me too, I already said religion, but I see no conflict in the two thoughts together either!
In having the highest hubscore here, I hope that your double posting is not conducive to ego, superstition or religion.
The rage virus or that zombie virus it....oh it was just in the films!!
Subconsciously or unconsciously hating ourselves - we think we're too fat, too ugly, not good enough, etc. What we oftentimes fail to realize is that our physical body reacts to this self-loathing and our own cells start attacking us, bringing forth disease.
Being born is without question the most fatal condition known to mankind. 100% mortality rate.
Injustice. Insidious, vicious and one-sided, that to me is a corrosive and an all too common disease. Some behaviour hasn't evolved much since medieval times when they burnt the bane of their lives at the stake.
I would opine that no evolution has taken place in that part of mankind. We used to kill a big feed then drag a woman in to our cave. These days same stuff, but it is money instead of meat. The parallels with modern life are all there for the seein!
Death...easily the deadliest disease known to mankind :-) haha. I saw a tee shirt or sign the other day that said "Death, the number one killer in the US"
greed.
everything begins and ends with it. Diseases of the mind, body, and soul. Injustice and duress, and the end of the world...

It's going to be hard for me to write objectively about this, but I'll try.I've recently seen a documentary about the child witches in Nigeria. I think it's just about the most terrifying and horrendous thing I've ever seen. The diagnosis and labelling of a child as a witch is pretty simple.If...

Why is there not one god with one message for all mankind? Why should there be vast differences between religions where doctrines and dogma conflict and contradict if there is one god? Why should each religion forbid their followers to follow any other religion if there is one god? Why are the vast...
