    Are you afraid to die?

I read a survey that most people are NOT afraid to die.  Some people are not afraid of death itself but of how they are going to die, like afraid of painful, tortuous death.  Some people are not afraid to die because they believe in life after death.  What about you?  Are you afraid to die?

When I was a kid I was really scared of dying but as you get older you learn to accept it as an inevitability. It's going to happen whether we like it or not.  I'm more afraid of not accomplishing some of my ambitions.  I want to leave my print on the world before I go.

I do not believe in life after death, but I do not have afraid to die. Death is part of our life, I want to live this moment carefully, therefore I hope not to have too much pain for which I will have to take strong medications. I have not fear, but when I think about death I feel a displeasure because I would not ever leave this wonderful life, the wonderful and magical life.

I understand that the act of actually "dying" should be revered. I suppose that the religious folk out there truly believe that there is life after death and that it is not truly the end for them. For athiests like me, I certainly don't want to die and watch everything fade to black. Maybe I am just ego-centric and feel that my life is far too valuable to waste. Everytime i was ever in combat, I immediately regretted ever having said that I was prepared to die for my country. So yes, I am absolutely afraid to die.

I am not afraid of dying because I know Heaven is on the other side.  However, I am scared of a horrible or painful death.

I am not afraid to die. We return to our real home which is a place of absolute peace, total acceptance and complete love unlike here on Earth were we have to learn to cope with intolerance, anger and sadness while we search for joy and love!

And I am not religious in any way, nor am I ego driven, just spiritually aware.

No, I am not afraid to die. I am more concern with living to even consider dying. I think must people are afraid of what they don't understand. What I do know based on what I have seen, life is short, so we should spend every moment living life to a maximum.

Some people are afraid of dying ,because they fear the unknown. They are agonize about how they will die and what happens after death.  I don't know what happens either; yet,I'm not going to sit around and be plagued about it.  My  belief in Providence gives me  confidence, that takes away that fear.  I also believe in the Holy Book that says, "after death ,there is a Judgment so, after we die, we all have to give an account of the life we lived on this earth. I  repented of my sins, accepted Christ as my Savior, read my Bible daily, and strive to live a Christlike life. Therefore, I can honestly say that, I am not afraid of dying.

I believe in life after death , so if you look at it my way, you don't really die. Once you are born you are forever. Furthermore , if you compare our lives on earth with our after lives , it is like a zero compared to infinity . In conclusion we were created for after life not for this life, so why should we worry about what we were not created for?
