   For me personally I honestly believe that on death, the shell/our physical body begins to disintegrate and this releases our energy part - the spirit - to move onto a higher vibration  - which is not possible while in a physical body. The higher vibrations are also called the astrals and the spirit world. The astrals do have many layers but for the vast majority of people their energy transforms straight into the spirit levels. Other people who may have died traumatically for example, can be caught between the lower astrals and the physical, they can sometimes be seen as spirit beings in haunted locations.

   Family and friends gather for one night to remember and celebrate your life and then they all return to their homes and jobs.

   There are individuals that "die" for a few moments. Some for 40 seconds, some for a minute. They all have a few things in common with their "death" experiences. They all see a tunnel with a light at the end, which is explained by the back of the head in response to death. What cannot be explained is the overwhelming emotions, view of the entire lives, and looking down at their limp body.
   They view each moment of their life. And for those who will continue on living, they see their future children. When they look at their form, they can view the entire room they are in. When back in their body and talking, they can tell exactly what doctors, nurses, family members, anyone in the area was doing while they were "dead".

   I'm really hoping nothing, since my favorite time is that place between sleep and awake where you don't dream and aren't even self-aware. But, unlucky person that I am, I figure I'll end up reincarnated or in hell or having to do all this same crud over again.

   While we all try to believe something will happen at death - a sign, a door, a gateway to the eternal I doubt it very much. While many state there cannot be proof; there could be in the way of Science. I guess, like all of us, we'll have to wait an see. No point dwelling over it while we've still got the moments of love and work, ay?

   when i was 3 yrs old i died. i was dead for 4 minutes. however, time means nothing when you are dead. i never saw a tunnel with a bright light at the end like so many say. I did see JESUS. HE welcomed me with open arms, and set me up on HIS lap. HE told me I could not stay as it was not my time. Before i left HE showed me an opossum and set me upon a white horse. HE has saved my life quite a few times after this. once from drowning twice in one day (due to my own stupidity) by causing me to breathe water. i think, that except for those who die before their time and must return, we "sleep" until judgement day. we are completely unaware of the passage of time or events happening. When CHRIST returns, HE will gather everyone from their graves first, where ever they may be, even those in the water, then the living will rise to meet HIM.
