The moments in life when you are not proud of who you are but your children still are... that is what inspires and motivates me to be something that I could justify my children being proud of.

I am sure you are a great example to your children Cantuhearmescream. They can be fickle at times though, perhaps it is all part of the growing up process, something  to do with them wanting to be independent of their parents. Thanks for you comment.

A Christmas, after their father and I had seperated my funds were exhausted and I wasn't happy with "how much I was able to do for them". I said, "Sorry I couldn't have made it a better Christmas" - they replied "It was a great Christmas Mommy" awww

After reading one of my favorite books. They always make me excited and recharged. But motivated and inspired... Those emotions happen when around beautiful architecture, hearing an astounding theory or concept, learning something that blows my mind, when a new world is seen or understood, etc.

That is lovely, bit like how I feel when I find myself in insect world with a macro lens. I know exactly how you feel.  Thanks for the comment.

After a refreshing walk in the sunshine - it cleares your mind and you can reflect upon your day and gain different perspectives.

You are so right Louse Lately, nothing clear the mind more than a walk outdoors, rain or sunshine.  Connecting with nature is a real cure for many ills.

After volunteering and soaking in the energy of like-minded individuals and re-aligning my perspective to find out how fortunate I am compared to the needy:) That is a source of energy that I have missed for some time haha.

It really does help to focus one's energy on those less fortunate than ourselves.  I commend you for taking time out to help the needy.  I am sure it is very much appreciated.  Thank you for your comment Desmondlee89

After the work well done, paid or voluntary, after the advice well received, only given when asked for it, after the help offered and kindly ackowledged, after the time of sharing with like minded people, after the reflective time spend in the nature, after the great time spent in following artistic pursuits (book, gallery, theatre, concert..)...and so much more that life has to offer....
and when finally everything for the day is done and you sit in your favourite corner and write about it....

Wow, what a great list.  I think it says so much more about you as a person.   I am full of admiration.  What a nice attitude you have to life.  A great comment, thank you very much.

I practice mditation and gratitude in the mornings when I wake up and at night before going to sleep.  I am therefore recharged, motivated and Inspired.  I live in a state of joy every moment that I'm alive.  Seeing the Blue Ridge Mountains from my bed each morning and night, the ground hogs, squirrels, rabbits, and somtimes deer in my back yard, the new bloom on a flower, a good cup of tea, a walk in my back yard...playing and just being with my 2 dogs, Yogi and Gypsie, hearing my daughter say, "I love you mom", greeting my neighbors each day, counting the stars at night during my walk, the moon, butter pecan ice cream......ALL that I encounter on a daily basis.......I'm just so happy to be alive and well!  With every breath I tak I am charged, inspired, and motivated.

You are indeed a very fortunate ladydeonne - how wonderful to have so much of nature and beauty right on your doorstep.  I will have to try to picture myself in the same surroundings!  Thank you for your comment.

I am fueled by love. It's when I am at my happiest peek. although when love has me a bit down it's when I write my best material. weird, I know, but love is my drive for many things. when I am under stress I become a extreme firecracker that is on the move and motivated to complete whatever is ahead of me. instead of busting under pressure. I tend to take five to ten minutes to reflect on the day and life. I will begin to ask myself questions, call it crazy, but ill then respond. However if you can remind yourself of who you are and what your goals are... you will always stay at your best.

How nice LoveJewel, Love is a powerful thing, in all it's guises - such a fickle thing too at times, bringing with it, so many ups and downs.  Great that you can be creative in stressful times though.   Thanks you for your comments.

This is a great question, and so many people have answered well.

For me, it's early morning during late spring/summer: it's always at this time that I can work hardest and be most creative. I get such a sense of accomplishment by having read, written, studied and exercised before most people are even up. Nature at this time is also beautiful.

Therefore I really should set my alarm clock more!

I find it so interesting that nature plays such an important part in everyone's feeling of well being.  I know that for myself, I think of time spent in the outdoors as my 'soul time', so important to my well being.  Thank you for your comment.
