Who is your favorite Christmas character (as in, not real)?

Ex: Rudolph, Grinch, Frosty, Scrooge, The Nutcracker...

Bob Cratchet, of A Christmas Carol by Dickens.  I like Cratchet because he has spiritual strength which shows by his dedication to work even under a cruel master, his love for his family, his appreciation of the most simple things in life, his faith that all will be well.

Heat Miser from "The Year Without Santa Claus". His song is my favorite part of that movie.

Buddy the elf. He really knows how to spread Christmas cheer.

"The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!"

I really do love Buddy the elf for his childlike nature and his pure love.

I will go with another character from Dicken's A Christmas Carol. Ebenerzer Scrooge.

Scrooge has had a tough life in the book. Lost love and the fear of poverty have consumed him. But in the end he does see the folly of his ways, and he in turn comes to personify the true spirit of Christmas.

Giving himself to the community and being more than generous with his time and effort.

You guys have all picked some great characters so far, but I just plain love the Grinch That Stole Christmas!  He is a trouble-maker, but ends up having a heart of gold in the end.  I am a little biased though liking the Grinch and Ebenezer Scrooge because I love Jim Carrey!

Jack Skellington, of course!! -From Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Jack seeks more in his life than others around him, an feeling we all find ourselves in from time to time. He may go about things initially the wrong way, but he always meant well and has a good heart. Eventually, karma prevails.

I'm with SuperheroSales, I love the Grinch. I always have, even before Jim Carrey's portrayal. I can recite that movie almost word for word. But I do love a lot of the Christmas characters.

We are big Grinch fans at our house! We love the movie, the book, and any and all other Grinch related things. This is a love affair that has endured for about 30 some years and we've continued it with the grandkids and can't wait to introduce some great-grandchildren to him someday:)
