the HUBMOB for christmas articles et al is already done, but you can still write about Christmas if you want to,,,,by Christmastime your articles should have been indexed, I have written a lot about Xmas already usually about songs,,,,
In Australia, we don't have the tasty distraction of Thanksgiving (but I am going to my first Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow) so the shops have Christmas decorations up from early November (and sometimes October).
