What Genre of books do you like to read, list three of your top?
2. Self Help
3. True Crime
Love them all! Of course, I don't snob other genres (other than romance), and am willing to read almost anything someone recommends to me.
Science Fiction, Classic Literature, and Contemporary Literature.
Coincidentally, three of my favorite books fall neatly into each category: Snow Crash, White Fang, and Life of Pi.
1. Classic Literature
2. Science Fiction/Fantasy
I like most anything, but horror. Biographies are usually my top pick. I like humor and spiritual. I like the least, anything where the author just likes the sound of their own voice.
Lately I've been reading a lot of biographies of musicians/actors/people I admire, or non-fiction about films, music, etc. -- pop culture in general. Right now I'm reading a book about "The Great Comic Book Scare" of the 1950s -- parents and clergy were concerned that the violence and mayhem portrayed in comic books would lead America's children into juvenile delinquency, which led to the creation of the Comics Code Authority.
In fiction, I mainly enjoy horror and suspense. Stephen King is my favorite.
It really depends on my mood.
Usually I will choose to read something that has to do with sacred geometry, unexplained mysteries, or metaphysics
for escapism I read science fiction and fantasy
But I will pretty much read anything, except for horror or romance.
A syfy fan, and dislikes horror and romance as well! I knew there was some good in you!

Do you read the classics? This goes for all genres and sub-genres, and it's outside of a school setting.
