Yes I did write another poem.  As I have stated I am in a tough spot right now and have figured out how to word this emotion.

    The Beast within
    has always been held
    by a veil, so thin
    its fury unstoppable
    its rage burns unfueled
ready to commit acts of sin.

    The Man, just a shell
    no longer in control
    It is another.
    Go to Hell!

    Red vision blurs
    shirt ripped off
    veins poppin and bulging
    all teeth are bared
    the battle begins
    no pain, just violence
    until all men are down
and there is nothing left but silence!

    The End.

    I hope you enjoy it.

Funnily enough I was just doing one for brenda that has odd words in it, as per her other thread about new words.

I didn't know you'd written more poetry. I shall go look - though I know nothing about it and don't understand the nuts and bolts of it smile

You are very welcome, I am glad that it made you feel better and that you liked the poem.  I thought of hubbing it after some gentle prodding from frogdropping but I don't know.  Anyway, thanks for the virtual high five.

That is great my perception is what you are feeling and experienced when you were sent overseas. That was wonderful! smile

Um, actually not really.  It is how I feel right now after coming back.  If you remember I was going to attempt to win my wife over again before I went on leave.  This poem expresses some of those emotions and is clue to how it went.

I liked that poem. I wondered if the image you were drawing was of a werewolf. And then I thought of the Incredible Hulk.

I noticed someone new this was about experiences overseas. I take it you were in the military? I have a poem you might like to read that compares someone in the Vietnam war with myself during a period of depression and oversensitivity. If you like, I can post it here, or somewhere else and supply you the link.
