Yes I did write another poem. As I have stated I am in a tough spot right now and have figured out how to word this emotion.
The Beast within
has always been held
by a veil, so thin
its fury unstoppable
its rage burns unfueled
ready to commit acts of sin.
The Man, just a shell
no longer in control
It is another.
Go to Hell!
Red vision blurs
shirt ripped off
veins poppin and bulging
all teeth are bared
the battle begins
no pain, just violence
until all men are down
and there is nothing left but silence!
I hope you enjoy it.
wesley you should have hubbed it - added some beautiful art.
It's very graphic and I'm sure Brenda will love it
Funnily enough I was just doing one for brenda that has odd words in it, as per her other thread about new words.
I didn't know you'd written more poetry. I shall go look - though I know nothing about it and don't understand the nuts and bolts of it
awesome poem, wesley! Line for line drives much intensity and depth. You are quite the poet!
oh i do really really love it, i can't believe it as you thought you could not write poetry..... well now you know you can..... you seem to be a very sensitive feeling kind a guy but tough also, does that make sense.... so i am thinking your poetry is going to be among my favourites on here...... i just like your style....
That is great my perception is what you are feeling and experienced when you were sent overseas. That was wonderful!
I liked that poem. I wondered if the image you were drawing was of a werewolf. And then I thought of the Incredible Hulk.
I noticed someone new this was about experiences overseas. I take it you were in the military? I have a poem you might like to read that compares someone in the Vietnam war with myself during a period of depression and oversensitivity. If you like, I can post it here, or somewhere else and supply you the link.
oh yeah absolutely hub it... go on google images and get some good pictures,,,,,,, you are a star
I think I will write a different one to hub. One about lost love and such.
o.k. as long as you keep writing, looking forward to your next hub.... i promise not to pester you this time.... just published a poem 5 minutes ago...
I think its a good poem! I'll have to go check out your other ones, I love good poetry
Okay, I posted the poem. I can't believe it's impossible to paste anything in these forums! I had to retype the whole thing in. Here is the link, also retyped:
I'm going to add some other poems to that thread when I have time.

Ha! Not that big, but good enough to motivate others to stop thinking you can't make a few bob. In the last six weeks, I've made an extra *copying from calculator* $196.36 (adsense and amazon). Not breaking the bank but evidence that time and effort and a kick up the seat of the pants from...
