hello hubbers, just wondering what your favorite topic is, or what niche you have found that works best for you.
we're encouraged to write about what we know best, or our passions, or many do product reviews, etc.
for myself, my favorite is writing about early childhood, a close second would be my trip to Paris a few years ago.
and there's so much more I want to write.
how about you?
for me I like writing about children, gender and relationship, home and family.
For me it's fiction stories, morror, mystery, fantasy, young adult...but I also enjoy writing about fairies, family trips (which will be a hub soon). My wedding in hawaii (hub soon)...and hanging out with my friends (more hubs soon too lol)
crazd, are you busy writing your daily goal of words??
and what is 'morror'?? is that a typo or a new genre??
I like writing about health issues, places I've been and family relationships.
I write a lot about writing (kind of counter productive one might think), I also write a lot about classical history and philosophy.
Kind of expected judging I'm an English Literature, Classical Civilisations and Philosophy student...
Travel...travel...and more travel! The places I visit, the people I meet and experiences.
About my life experience. As experienced by me or someone that is close to me.
i write about literature, music, and religion. i'm truly in love with the liberal arts and passionate about the ideas, both in art and in writing, that have shaped our society.
creatively, it would be children's literature and fiction. hub-wise, hmm...i would say popular culture or life in general.
Relationships in general would attract me besides romance...
I like to write about, well, writing, and like to share my fictional pieces with the community. However, I write about anything that interests me and I'm interested in many things
so many great responses, it's really nice to see the broad range of subjects that inspire us to write.
Parenting, family, self-improvement are just a few topics I enjoy writing about.
doing nothing, Waiting for Godot has rubbed off on me too much.
i want to create poetry out of air castles...
that is my obsession in life. well, i am part of the Dead Poet's Society in my nightmares...i also like some ironic twists in my topics, as much as possible. Original and almost bizarre I want to write extraordinary things like QUO VADIS POST 2012 and MESSIAH FACES HID FEAR and GLOBAL WARMING IS A GLOBAL WARNING...
I like to write explanatory guides to help with technical procedures as well as inspirational topics for personal growth.
I had intended to write rants and raves BUT now I find a do a lot of "she said/then he straightened her out"/male response hubs. I am also doing a lot of hubs where I share some hip interesting (or offensive) graphics that I find in my search for pics for the website for which I work.
In fact, I just published one:

I tend to write what I like AND what my fans like. Everyone and anything else comes after--no matter how much money a topic might be worth.

What are your favorite topics to write about in the summer? Now that summer is pretty much here, what are your favorite topics to write about while the sun shines and the summer breeze brings the sounds of tweeting birds, the delicate scent of blossoming flowers and fresh cut grass?

I write how-to and recipe hubs. I know the recipe hubs will make money eventually but I have read that technical hubs get more views. What is your thoughts or experience on this topic?

What do you think are the most popular topics to write about?
by Phil 9 months ago
I have been writing articles and flash fiction stories on HubPages but am unsure what topics are the most popular ones. Also, is it better to write in a specific niche or to try to write in a wide array of topics? Thank you
