Thanks for posting Pamela's article, Chitrangada.

Pamela, I loved all of your marvelous poetry. They are indeed a great response to the word prompt,"Shopping." With Christmas and the holiday season so near, I guess you are busy shopping nowadays.

Wish you both all the best and Season's Greetings.

    Hi Pamela!
I enjoyed your poems about shopping. It’s true that sometimes shopping makes you tired, but it’s always enjoyable, if it’s for festivals and special occasions. I loved the quote too.
    Thank you for sharing.

    Pamela
    Great writing...you captured it perfectly.

Your acrostic poem does capture what it's like to go Christmas shopping.
Our budget usually goes out the window, our feet hurt, we buy way too many packages but it's alot of fun.

In your poem "Christmas Shopping" you tell us how we keep on shopping even though our feet get tired.
We are determined to find that perfect Christmas present, something they will adore.
We make memories this time of year that we hold close and cherish.

In your poem "Grocery Shopping" you capture that feeling of dread.  How we hate going back each week and we are careful to check that list twice.
We don't want to forget anything.

So if we're not sure we have it at home, we put it in the cart.

It's discouraging because our cart is full, but we know we'll be back again next week and it's not cheap.

Great writing.  Your words definitely depict how I feel when I go shopping.

Dear Brenda, I am glad you like the poems, and that they captured just how you feel about shopping also. Every week it seems groceries cost more!

    I do appreciate your feedback.

Thank you for sharing Pamela’s excellent article, Chitrangada. Well done with these poems, Pamela. You captured much of the essence of shopping and it was a good response to Brenda’s word prompt. I am in the process of writing mine at the moment.
