    Hi Chitrangada,
This is an excellent response to Brenda's prompt, "Book." I can understand your fascination for hardcover books. I also had the same fascination during childhood and adoloscence. But with the advancement of technology, I like reading eBooks more now.
Loved both your longer poem and acrostic poem. You give good advice in the longer poem that is books don't make you feel lonely and they give you inspiration and new ideas. I am an avid reader of books. I love the quote by C W Eliot. Have a great day!

    Chitrangada...
In your article " About Books and Nostalgia" you tell us how both of your parents loved to read books so you were raised in an environment where you were encouraged to read.
So, your love of books started early in age.
You belonged to libraries and often exchanged books with friends.

Your acrostic poem describes how books enlighten us with vast knowledge which we need to share with our children & grandchildren.

You've written us a piece, "About Books: Poem" that shows us how books open us up to a new world.

They give us inspiration & comfort us when we're lonely. They take us to new places & give us new ideas.

I love the quotes you included...especially the one by C. W. Eliot.

Those are sone interesting facts you found about google....like the first book written with a typewriter.

Then you include a link to another article "Do You Enjoy Reading Print Books or E-books The World Book Fair, Delhi

    (https://discover.hubpages.com/literatur … st-e-Books)

Where you tell us about the differences between these two, but say those printed books are here to stay.
Readers love the smell and feel of a hardcover book.

One big advantage of the e-books is that they benefit older people who need a bigger font or color to read due to vision problems.

Great job on these articles.   I'll post links in the word prompt article.

Thanks Rosina for sharing Chitrangada's lovely response to Brenda's word prompt "Books."  I can totally relate to your love of books from an early age, Chitrangada.  My favorite gift was always one of books!  I had kept most all of the ones I had read until some years back when I started donating them and giving them away to friends, etc.

We did some more serious downsizing when we sold our home and moved into an apartment over a year ago.  More of my beloved books were let go, but at least others will now get to read them, and hopefully, enjoy them as much as I did.

Your poems were also enjoyable.  Enjoy your day today!

I am happy to know that you can relate to my thoughts, especially with respect to our earlier times.
Appreciate your kind words and support.
      Have a wonderful day.
