Read Umesh's excellent story in response to Brenda's "breakfast" word prompt.

      Excellent response Umesh ji.
Husbands may not be expressive, but they do understand. Time is usually their constraint.
Your story beautifully depicts the understanding between the husband and the wife.
Thank you John, for sharing this wonderful post.

Thanks for sharing this one John.

      Umesh
In your story you tell us about a busy executive named Dave who expects his wife Rezi to tend to all the household chores.

When she is ill & cannot fix breakfast for him, he finally pitches in by making her breakfast and leaving it on the table  with a note.

Too bad he didn't bring it to her in bed so it could still be hot, but I'm glad to see he is finally understanding that with love, everything is a two-way street.

When you truly care about another person, you will do anything for them.

Interesting story about how even something so simple like breakfast can make a huge difference on one's outlook.

I'll post a link in the word prompt article .

Beautiful story by Umesh. A great response to Brenda's word prompt. Small gestures prove a one's love for their partner, like preparing breakfast. You have brought out the aspect of true love very well in the poem Umesh. I enjoyed reading it. Thanks John for sharing.
