John, I thoroughly enjoyed reading your lovely hub. Thank you for sharing the book review of this novel. I enjoy thrillers.
I also enjoyed reading both of your beautiful poems. Unfortunately, the virus does not seem to go away anytime soon, but let's hope that 2022 will bring us less blues. Let us all hope for the best. Thank you so much for sharing.

Happy new year to you and your family.
      Take care and keep smiling.

I loved the novel review and even more so, your lovely poetry about the new-variant virus spreading all over. I also think despite all hurdles, may 2022 bring us a fresh round of hope, joy and peace and above all, freedom, which you mention in your poem. All in all, an exquisite write-up, John.

Thank you Misbah for sharing John's commendable work.

John, you've given another book to add to my list of "I have to find this at the library." I've missed your on the shelf series, and glad you've picked it up again. Your comparison of the pandemic to all of us being "entombed" is thought-provoking. Good job!

Hello Linda, I felt the need to write something and thought I’d resurrect this series. I am glad you think this book sounds interesting enough to search for in the library too. I hope you find it. It is also nice to know my poems were thought-provoking. Take care.

John, home is surely our safe haven right now. This pandemic seems to be never ending with the virus evolving so much. I loved your poems and the book review. Hope this new year is better. Hope you continue with the 'on the shelf' series. Thanks Misbah for sharing.

Vidya, yes home is the best place to be. It seems the governments, at least here, have given up trying to control it by removing most restrictions and just leaving it up to the people to do the right thing.now the number of cases is just skyrocketing. Thank you for reading and I wish you well.

That book review by John sounds like it would be very interesting to read.  Both of his poems regarding the feelings many of us share about the current pandemic, and how it is affecting our lives, is spot on!  Thanks for sharing his work in the forums Misbah.  May everyone enjoy a healthy and happy new year!

Thank you Peggy. I am pleased that you feel I captured the feelings many have about the pandemic, and yes, the book is certainly an interesting and worthwhile read. All the best for the New Year,
