Hi Chitrangada. Thanks for the encouraging comments. Yes it was a nice dream and I enjoyed writing about it. I love snow and have quote a collection of snow pictures. I came to know about the spiritual significance of the snowflake at a Zen class that I attended. This word prompt brought back good memories. Have a great week ahead, my friend.

Your dream was beautiful, Vidya!  Would you believe that I watched the movie Frozen for the first time recently?  It is so cute, and I can understand why children love it.  I did too!  Thanks Pamela for showcasing Vidya's photos, and what she wrote about snowflakes.

Dear Peggy, I am so happy that you thought my dream was beautiful. Yes since we don't experience snow here, I often think of the time we spent in Shimla where I saw and loved the snow. I want to see Frozen too. The songs in the movie are also beautiful. Have a great day and week my friend.

      Vidya
I'm a bit behind, but I finally read your work.

Your article, "Snowflake-Nature’s Unique Creation" captures the beauty of a snowflake.

      I love this Zen proverb
“A snowflake never falls in the wrong place”
signifying that nothing happens by chance.

Snowflakes enhance a sense of wonder in anyone that watches them fall.

Your pictures show the beautiful blanket over the land and the joy one experiences.

Although it never snows where you live, I'm glad you got to experience snowfall in Shimla during your visit.

You say you have a  dream of a beautiful snowflake & your friend tells you it's
a symbolizes new beginnings & indicates good luck, growth, goal accomplishment and prosperity.

I've never thought of it's significance in this way before, but it's a beautiful thought.

I like how you say "Snowflakes seem like a message from heaven teaching us to relax and be cool, live in the moment and enjoy it the most before it goes away."

      That's a beautiful thought.

Your "Poem- Snowflake-Nature’s Unique Creation" shows us a dream that truly touches one's soul.

A moment full of inspiration that awakens us with a message.

Teaching us to embrace what we have in life & celebrate each moment.
Enjoy the fact that we are all unique & different.

As writers we are aware of this difference as we each tell stories in our own way trying to leave a mark in the literary community.

We can see the importance in life for each second is timed.

As you say, "Zen philosophers often say no
snowflake ever fell in the wrong place.

This is a wonderful piece reminding us how delicate & fragile life can be...just like a snowflake that melts before one's eyes.

It is especially important in these times we are living now.

We need to embrace the joy of each moment.

I'll post a link in the word prompt article.

      Great work.

P.S. - I'm glad your granddaughter has you.
I'm sure her party was a success & a moment she will remember for life.

Hi Brenda, thanks for the comments. Your encouraging words made my day. It was a beautiful dream and I though I would write about it. I liked the spiritual significance of the snowflake in Zen philosophy too. It is so relatable to the times we live in. It's a lovely  compliment when you say my granddaughter is lucky to have me. I always thought the vice versa. Much gratitude to you my dear friend. Have a great week ahead, stay blessed.

Misbah, so nice to see your positive feedback. Thanks for the kind words. I am glad you liked my response. This week's prompt seemed like a tough one as we don't get to experience snow here. But my dream and the saying that I had heard at the Zen class helped me create this hub. It was fun recreating those memories. Have a great day and week, stay blessed.
