Hello, Mr. Val. Your poem, as well as the message it conveyed, were both excellent. People who break other people's hearts and cause them pain, I believe, cannot be happy in their lives. Such people, in my opinion, never find peace and happiness. I believe, what goes around comes around.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful poem.

    Take care and stay healthy.

    Blessings to you!!

Hello Misbah dear -- Your gentle and generous soul keeps showering us with your positive responses on what we write, so receive my gratitude. Sometimes I wish I had that quality, but I am stuck with being myself.
    Blessings to you too.

A great poem by Val. Yes it does have an important message. I have never heard the term “Love Dropouts” but I like it. I also enjoyed “Magic of a Smile.”

    Wonderful poem Val.
There are those out there who toy with ones emotions, only to leave one brokenhearted as they prance on their merry way to the next victum.
It's sad that they are so scared of love that they would rather keep starting over.
Maybe they only enjoy those immediate sparks, but love is so much more.
    Thanks for sharing Misbah.

Brenda dear, and Johnny my buddy -- If Papa Freud read this poem, he might say that I wrote it unconsciously hitting on people like my father who left us when I was a kid. But, since good old Siggie is not among my readers, I am indebted to your kindness to find a good message in my rhyme. Yeah, those bastards never find happiness by buzzing around like hummingbirds from flower to flower. Well, they must have "some" fun while doing it, but sooner or later they pay the price which is commeasurable with the fun. Thanks again.

Like John wrote, I also have never heard the term "love dropouts," but it fits what you described.  Sorry to hear about your father.  At least you learned from him how not to act when it comes to true love.  Thanks Brenda for sharing Val's meaningful poetry.

Peggy dear -- Thank you for your kind words. Trust me, if my father's example had been anything like a "sensitive" material for me, I would have kept it as something very private -- but to me it's all just something that I could have seen in a movie, no sentiment attached to it.

That is good that you have moved past that event so that it now bears no sentiment.  Still, it serves as an example as what not to do.
