    Hi Linda,

I agree with you about the quality of art produced by Charles H. Hubbell.  His attention to detail and accompanying information about each airplane makes it truly historical in nature.  Thanks for reading this and taking the time to leave a comment.

This is such an interesting article.

He must have really enjoyed aviation to do so much Painting & writing on the subject.

He was very detailed and the works are awesome.

I took a moment to look him up & you've stumbled across quite the collection.

His work brings in top dollar at auctions.

I shared this on Bulletin Board for Writer's which is by Our own Margaret Minnicks.

    Hi Brenda,

Charles H. Hubbell did indeed create a monumental amount of work on this subject.  His paintings undoubtedly bring top dollars in auctions.  What I have would not bring in that much money.  Some aviation buffs might enjoy having them.  There is a WWII small museum near where we live in a regional airport.  I might offer some of the prints related to that time frame to them if they wish to have them.

    Peggy...
That's a wonderful idea to have them showcased at the museum.
Perhaps with a bit of your writing posted along side of them.
