   I agree that your poems are beautiful Brenda. I am sure your niece misses her mother. I think you might fill a bit of that void as you obviously love your niece. My mother just about 3 years ago at 95 years of age, but I miss her every day, so your poems touched my heart too.

      I often feel sad for Alexus because she missed the joy of having a mother beside her.  .helping her along life's journey.

   Beautifully expressed poems about the mother-daughter bond.
   I have seen graduation pictures of your niece. This is so sad that her mother couldn’t be physically present on her important day of achievement. No one can take the place of parents, but it’s so nice that you were all by her side, during those memorable moments. Thank you for sharing these heartfelt poems.

   Beautifully expressed poems, Brenda. So sorry to hear your niece lost her mother at so early age. And now she misses her by her side. Mother daughter bond is unbreakable bond. She will be always her mother's little angel.

   It's sad when a loved one dies, especially when they are young. I'm sorry that your niece's mother is no longer alive, but I'm glad that your niece has you, Brenda.
   
   I love the theme of your article. A bond that death cannot break is a wonderful and hopeful thought.

      I'm sure it is alot harder on her than she let's anyone know.
      She's a strong person.
      
      I enjoyed reading your article on Owlcation ~ The Japanese Knotwood.
      It reminded me of a tree that we just couldn't control.  Beautiful with delicate pink flowers, but it spread underground.
      
      Not sure how it is now...since I no longer live there.
      
      But the area you described where the wildlife like blue heron lingered sounds nice for them.

   We just had her Graduation party on Saturday.   
   
   So proud of her.
   
   The next step in her life will be scary.
   
   A place of her own.  A new job, a new city....and school.
