      Thank you, Pamela. I had trouble starting this, but once I did I got on a bit of a roll, and had to decide what to include and what to leave out. Thank you for providing the challenge.

   This is a lovely read, John. I think I know you much lesser than our other friends who have been here on HubPages with you for a longer time.
   Every new read from you adds to appreciation for your writing skills.
   So many cats and a dog around !! .... Your mention about walks with your dog reminds us of Bill and Bev and their cute doggies.
   I have also tried to write on this challenge.

   Thank you so much, Vanita. Glad this allowed you to get to know me better. We just got a new puppy recently as our old dogs passed away, so I have started taking her for daily walks. I look forward to reading your response to this challenge.

   I'm was so glad when I woke up & saw you've written a response to Pamela's challenge.
   
   I had no doubt that you could get ur done.
   
   If flows so naturally like it took off like a rocket. It's really good.
   
   X marks the spot...I've been searching for mine too.
   
   Your life sounds good with 6 cats, a dog, and a wife Kathleen.
   
   We still can't get that stuff you spread on toast, but I remember you talking about it before.
   
   I definitely enjoyed reading this one.  You made it seem fun.
   
   Great picture of the two of you and that video of the poem "If" was awesome.
   Great way to end your article.

      Brenda, thank you for giving me those couple of ideas to get started. Obviously, that was all I needed, and yes it did “take off like a rocket.” I am glad it flowed naturally, and you also enjoyed the “If” video.
