    Hi Farah!
Beautifully composed poem, and quite expressive. Sometimes, the wires are not visible too. Nice of you to conclude on a positive note. I like that little corner— so calm and peaceful.
    Thank you for sharing.

Thank you so much, dear ChitrangadaSharan, for sharing my poem. I am happy to know you found it expressive and also to know that you liked my little corner. It’s nothing too fancy but I do love to spend some time to myself here. Yes, the daily struggles that we need to put up with are often unseen. I prefer to deal with them this way...Spend some time to relax and then start again. Much love and blessings to you!

      Thank you Farah!
It's a pleasure to share your post-- I am sorry for misspelling your name by mistake!
      It's  actually Huq!

Farah, your poetry never disappoints. This one starts off quite dark, as you describe being restrained and becoming even more entangled as you struggle to be free. I am sure most people can relate to things and situations that make them feel this way.
Having a quiet place to retreat to and be alone often allows us to escape from our troubles and stresses however, just like your little corner. I loved the imagery of the poem.

It's good to hear from you after a long time, Farah. I am so glad you have a beautiful little corner to shed off stress, pain and discomfort of the day. In fact, it's a place where you can have some me-time to come back to yourself. That's great. I love the idea. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks Chitrangada for sharing Farah's post.

Experiencing the wires of entrapment is an interesting way to describe the problems of life. The tangled knots can be very frustrating. I hope many people experiencing them find a sanctuary and calmness, as described in the poem. It’s a lovely thought!

Thank you so much, John, once again for your appreciation and wonderful insight into the theme. On a funny note, it’s kind of like my earphone...the more I try to free the knots the more tangled it gets. I don’t even know how it gets so tangled in the first place. Sometimes, I feel, our problems are like that. They appear from nowhere and no matter how much we try to free the knots, they keep getting worse! So once in a while, it’s good to take a break and retreat as you said. We need to recharge our minds as well.

Thank you, dear Surovi! Yes, it’s been some time since I’ve written. Got tangled in several issues that needed my time and attention, but yes, I am working on them. So let’s see. I do try to spend quite a lot of me-time. I just love attending to my thoughts and I do not wish to be bothered by anyone at these moments. This helps me relax. I would love to know what others here do to relax, to untangle from stressful situations. Thank you for the lovely words. My blessings to you, dear.

Thank you so much, dear AliciaC! I am glad to know you found the theme interesting. I believe every person needs a place to retreat. Home is that place in most cases. That’s why we call it “Sweet”. My blessings to you always.

    Farah...
So good to see you & read your words.

Life definitely makes us feel like we are twisted up and tied down in knots.
To be able to have a special place to go when times trouble us is terrific.
    I love your little corner.
    It looks peaceful.

Asking in prayer is a great way to handle one's problems & then retreating in the quiet.

It is there that we usually find the answers.

    Great write.

Thank you so much, dear Brenda! It is always good to get your lovely feedback and I am so happy to know you liked the poem and my little corner. My garden was a better place of comfort…. But now that it’s almost gone and since I’ve moved to a separate floor, this got to be my new place of retreat. Thank you for your wonderful insight. Please do pray for me and my blessings to you as well.
